Recently, I experimented with elementrium and tested out a few theories. What I found out is that if you wield an elemental weapon with a set amount of elemental attack (For example, 'Water +4') that elemental property in your stats can increase which can be amplified the more INT you have. I was safely able to test this out on a discontinued mage, who held a Wind +4 item.. because of how much INT I had (60 to be exact, and the elemental was 5 instead of 4.) I can only assume this development would be the same for any other class. Of course this is the most beneficial to mages as they use magic, but it's something to think about if you're looking towards amplifying your elemental powers.
