Weapon Stat Boosts

Ok, I heard that if you want to be more of a support, you have to put up SPR and INT equally. My stats are INT: 27 and SPR: 27. But my staff adds 4+ INT, so my stats are INT: 31 and SPR: 27. Should I put SPR to 31 to make it equal or does it really matter? Thanks. :)

Ok well whatever you heard was probably wrong....3:1 or 4:0 is much better than 2:2
