I guess you missed the part where I wrote when Adeline got stuck by the kron exploit.. >_>;
Everything expensive because people still think kron is worthless. So therefore a normal 6AP gear that was going for 2-4mil before the epidemic hit is now 40-60mil or 4-6 xenstones. So basically, the bartering is now done with xenstones and/or pet quest items such as leathers or soul stone fragments. :/
Economy is still recovering. But who knows when it'll drop (or go back to normal) again. . .

Well basically when half the people in the game had billions and the other half wanted billions, kron became worthless. Basically stuff is selling for 8 to 10 times what it was before Christmas.
