Introduction
Welcome to the CnC thread! All information about the guild, including events, recruitment details, rules, etc. will be included here. Here's a little history about this group.

History of Chill n Chat
The group started back in early Open Beta in the Adeline Server. Back then, guilds weren't implemented, Rudwork was the strongest map, and basically everyone was just like how Marian server first started.

The founders of the original CnC are: Kuroyo, Sicily, Celten, and Celxin. Later on, additional leaders were added to the CnC family, including Dipple and sophronia. We also made friends with other groups, including Kairos, the original Myths Collide. Our main purpose was to bring entertainment upon Xen, which is the serve purpose we're trying to serve now. CnC had many nicknames, including Cookies n Cream, Celten n Celxin, Celery n Cheese, Capture n Conquest, and much more.

We held many public events, including the popular Hide n Seek in Essene. Prizes ranged from +1 gears and skill books to AP Gears and Xen Stones.

Many days of fun, many days of enjoyment. Unfortunely the days of CnC ended when some of the leaders left, and many others focused on grinding. The main reason is ended was still a mystery. And later on we wondered, will it ever be revived? And so now, CnC is reborn, with the same purpose, but different environment.

So several months later, the guild was made, under the leadership of Forrest (Celten). Only a couple of our old group members remain today, while others weren't seen at all for a long period of time.

Our main purpose will remain the same as the olden days, but a bit different for now. Our purpose is to bring upon entertainment for those in the guild first, and slowly spread it upon the public. As a group, and not a guild, there is no true leader within the guild. Every person is treated the same, along with the ranking system not important to us. We believe every member is not ranked by level, personality, nor class.

CnC's RRR's: Rules, Regulations, Recruitment

Rules & Regulations

1. No DRAMA. Simple as it says.
2. No begging.
3. Guild rank will show trustworthiness and responsibility. Abuse will result in removal of all guild power, or expel from the guild.
4. We're not a type of guild that focuses on PvP, reminder we're a entertainment, chillaxing group.
5. Chillax on the language, just for the respect of several members.
6. Inactivity (for a month) will result in deletion, unless there is an excuse.
7. Any misbehavior, problems, additional information, questions, please contact Forrest.
8. Causing major problems in the guild will result in automatic expel from the guild without warning. Failure to abide the rules above will be the same, as well. Just note we're not a PvP guild, nor hardcore grinders. If you can't accept that, then you're applying/joining the wrong guild. =P


Recruitment

So at the moment, we're looking for members with these qualifications:

1. Preferably Level 40+ (exceptions include close friends)(Level limitation to avoid a level gap between members and incoming admissions.)
2. Any class
3. Willing to participate in meetings and events
4. Respectful, and will follow the rules mentioned above in the Rules & Regulations section.

At the moment, the guild is FULL, so we won't be accepting anymore new members as of July 7, 2009. However, we may have one or two spaces available later on. Part 1: Application

Part 2: Admission Test

1. Party Test
You'll be partying with me (Galatic) to see how will you handle in future guild parties. This will show patience, flexibility, and just to discuss some additional rules, info, and to answer any questions you have in mind. Test locations will vary upon level.

2. One Week Test
In CnC we have a private spy council, to monitor how well the new admissions go along with other members. This private council will report me any negatives and positives about the person commissioning into the guild. If all, or a large majority of the council rejects you, it will result in deletion of the guild, or private conversation with you to discuss problems. If about a half rejects you, then we will extend it for another week. If a majority believes you deserve to be part of the group, then you pass and officially a guild member.

3. Participation of Meeting - Events Test
This will be part of the One Week Test. During the week, we'll have several meetings and events. For now, we expect new admissions to participate in one meeting/event. However, there are times when there are no meetings are held. In case of that, we'll notify you.

Note: In a case where you are unable to meet around for several days/weeks, please notify us and we'll postpone the test until then.

Introduction

Okay, our main purpose at the moment is to bring entertainment upon those in the guild, and hopefully to the public. Right now, we're only hosting in-guild events and we'll be testing them as well. We encourage members, including those who are in the one-week test, to participate in them and to help us test them.

Until further notice, there won't be any events held for the time being due to lack of time. However, you can host your own guild events/guild chat events if you wish, but please notify me (Galatic) before doing so.

Events will be held randomly, particularly during times when a majority of members are online. We accept any suggestions for events. If you have one, feel free to bring it up during meetings or just tell us. Rewards will be distributed among those who helped test the events, or participated in them. Winners of any event will receive a much more bigger prize, which can range from pet quest items, to class change items, to rarities, such as Xen Stones.

Meetings

Introduction

Meetings are held to discuss future plans, introduction to new members, discuss problems, and to hold some events. It's also a place to state your opinions, suggestions, and etc. They'll be held every once in awhile, usually randomly. We encourage everyone to participate in some of them, but if time is not at your side, we'll hold some meetings earlier or later than usual.

Our meeting location is located on the Essene Magician Convene Rooftop. It's also our hang-out spot. All meetings will be held there and for anyone who is interested to join, you can visit us there and hopefully somebody will be there.
