How do I run?

I was in the town, when my character was lagging. I pressed shirt 'z' to hide everything and to make it easier to get around. I've does this before, but this time it make my character switch from running to walking. Now I can't get my character to run instead of walk! Please help!

hit the guide button ingame. then try hitting those buttons again except one at a time. Z switches from running ot walking and vise versa
