When you win, you get reputation and at same time you earn WSP, but replying your question, yes, your reputation is what counts in your rank.

I dont know how your rank goes up.But i've noticed the more you PvP the more you're going to get a higher rank. I think your reputation is how you rank up more.
And I think to your last question,I think you have to get as much reputation as long as how much EXP youe need to get.

Correct as you pvp more you gain WSP and ranking points.

WSP is what you can spend on items where as ranking points will increase your rank when you've met the requirement

reputation, and WSP depends in your score in the game (when game ends, or during, go to team select to check your score) you earn that score dealing direct damage to the enemy. Notice that you will only get the score if that enemy is dead when game ends, so if in a team no one dies, all members of the opposite team will have 0 score. if you die or not doesnt matter in final score score. (cool topic for fan submisions =P)
