I'm sure there is a common sense answer to this question but why aren't items like the Iron Case and exp cards giftable? My girlfriend and I play together and only bought one sparkcash card and would both like 50% exp cards but does that mean we both have to buy seperate cards for something that cost a mere 3-5 bucks?

I think you just answered your own question. Outspark wants you to spend more money on SC. I'm assuming certain things aren't giftable because Outspark wants more players to purchase SC. There's really no other reason I can think of, or have read here in the forums. Also think about why 700 points = $1 and item prices aren't divisible by 700... You'll always have to buy more SC if you ever want to hit even. The game is heavily geared towards consistently purchasing more SC (permanent mounts with SC food, 30-day items, etc.).

The game (as created by OnsOnSoft) is geared toward uber fun MMORPG gameplay.

The Cash Shop (as controlled by publisher Outspark) is geared toward uber profits.

I'd bet that OOS gets paid a straight-forward licensing fee for their troubles, and are not necessarily very concerned with the Publisher's profit margins, so long as said Publisher can continue to pay the licensing fee.

EDIT: To answer OP, yes you will need to buy separate cards. I guess go buy a $10 one?
