Oh, i installed the game yesterday and registered at outspark.
Now, i wanted to start this game ; ) but everytime i start the launcher...
typing in the email and the password.... i get the message:
"The game is either closed for maintenance or you have not been invited to play yet."

May someone help me what i made wrong?
Or...whether the game is just....not playable...at the moment?

As far as I am aware there isn't maintenance right now, so there's probably an issue with the client. Did you download directly from the site or from a mirror site?

Also, if we cannot find a way to fix it, I would suggest clicking the "submit a ticket" link found in my signature, you'll be able to get in touch with the helpdesk and hopefully they'll be able to provide answers that I may not.

This is a great point, but if she's able to click the 'login' button in order to receive that error message, all of the patches should have been downloaded. If I recall correctly, the login button is unclickable if the patches are still downloading. ^^

The launcher generally goes through two checking processes when you open it. First it checks for Launcher updates, and then it checks for Fiesta updates. If its still saying "Checking Fiesta Version" give it a few more minutes to finish up, if it doesn't then go to "Check Completed" let me know ^^

That should be more than enough time. I would suggest submitting a ticket using the link in my signature. Also, look through our help site, the "Customer Support Site" link in my signature. There may be a solution to your problem there.

Right now, I am at work, and don't have a great deal of time to browse through it myself. Although I would be more than happy to help look through the site when I get home this afternoon. ^^

well , i downloaded the client direct from the fiesta homepage and i updated to all new versions, still have the same problem, can u play fiesta from europe (germany)? i hope so lol.....

I'm glad you enjoy speaking English, I'd love to learn German myself. My boyfriend has a lot of friends over there and we're planning on visiting sometime in the near future.

However, because a German version has been licensed by a gaming company there, there is an IP block in place that doesn't allow German users that joined after a certain date to play on this version. I'm sorry you are unable to play our game, as you seem like nice people and it would have been fun to party with you. However, you can certainly hang out on our forums and chat with us if you'd still like to chat in English ^^

Haha, I don't think oddity is country specific, we can be pretty weird sometimes ourselves ^^

I read a post made by CSR Joker here is the link http://www.outspark.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1566008#post1566008. Since it is official, you have to use the german client (I heard there is an english server called bijou).

This bug fails. Apparantly it's because the computer is accessing the internet in a country which Fiesta doesn't like.

But no matter what I've tried i can't get around the bug. =/

Tried Hide IP NG and ProxyCap but they didn't help. =/

This is a class A bug as it prevents the user from playing at all. If Fiesta was made to cater for Germany and other such countries that can't connect, then something should be done about this bug.

Its not that the game creators hate specific countries...but in a licensing agreement its common for the licensor (OnsOnSoft) to restrict access to specific areas. This means that if another company wants to offer them money for the game, they can continue to make a profit because the game would be unmarketed in that area....no one would have it.

Its really just a business deal, however, it can be a bit upsetting for players who want to play with their friends in different countries.

Well... I'm from the Netherlands and I also got this.. I was able to login yasterday. I jad a vendor and got d/c. After I woke up this morning I and I tried to login.... I was unable to connect, because of the same error -.-

(I just solved a connection error and now I get a new one) -.-

EDIT*: lolz.. wow, I'm glad I can connect again.
