Is it really necessary to empower aim shot and power shot? I find em useless cuz you'll be AOEing all the time right?

Power hit has the single greatest base damage of any skill in the game.
Long story short, they hit for more than your aoes do.

For single target, boss fight, and PVP.
I maxed Dmg. on both.

MAX damage and COOL on power and aim shot is the universal archer empowerment.
And even if you are AoEing the whole time it'd be much faster to take out the last 2-3 with those skills than to continue to run and shoot into the air like a maniac.
But for KQs, PvP, and Quick solo killing you'll need them empowered.
Most STR archers can kill a yellow melee mob before it reaches them with those empowerments.
