So i was in Luminous stone, I need to get the Skeleton Knight quest done to get my lvl 30 chest armor..
A fighter named Kuboy runs down, and i ask for his help..
so he joins and says yeah..
as we're running down there i notice while he's in a mob that in the room next to us is a chest..
I keep him alive and say hey.. hurry.. look in this room.. he b-lines for the chest, i devote all my magic to keeping him alive long enough to get the contents cleared from the room that's heavily occupied with mobs.
after all the loot is gone and i die, i realize i had forgot to set the party loot to sequential allocation.. so i killed myself to give him the contents of the chest..
but that was fine.. i was pissed, but it was my fault and I didn't expect him to really give me anything anyway..
so i message him "well, merry x-mas :) i forgot to set the loot to sequential, my bad".
"but a simple thanks would be nice" (knowing he was keeping whatever was in there".
he never says anything, and leaves the party.
that is dissed with a capital D :)
and P.S. THAT'S WHY IT SHOULD ALWAYS BE ON SEQUENTIAL ALLOCATION WHEN YOU ARE IN A PARTY.. PERIOD!! nobody is going to share a pet or some rare item once it is in their inventory.. and the people in the back keeping the gung-ho ones are the ones that get screwed EVERY TIME..
