I don't know about you, but i'm tired of getting screwed over by free loot allocation.. i'm sure the archers and mages have to feel the same way..

the people in the front get everything, while those in the back get the fumes..

i wish more people would start demanding sequential loot distribution so when someone does it, it's not like they are asking something totally wierd and out of line.

It's quite natural for parties to be set on sequential.. The only reason it should be on free would be if at least one of you are doing a quest that requires quest items.. Sequential helps avoid conflict about who gets what and usually keeps everyone happy..

my parties are always on sequential, unless we're doing quests, then we trade/give eachother items. though also i usually party with my guild mates...and if everyone has the same quests then you dont even need free allocation..

As much as people demand sequential loot, this isn't really a problem for me as a cleric. We share items we need for our production things, and I don't team-hop. There's 1 team I grind with, and I don't just party with anyone. Knowing your team makes all the difference when you're sitting on a concentrated spawn point, engaged with 5 things and 3 more appear in your face.

i agree, its great to have a usual party group, you learn eachothers playing styles and become able to predict what others are going to do. this helps a lot.

Yeah if you have a group of people you play with all the time loot should not be a problem. Sometimes even then loot is on ffa because some need quest items. If your going to join random grind groups alot always make sure the Loot is on Seq before you even start or ask it to be changed nicely and i'm sure they have no problem doing so, might of not noticed it was on ffa. If they say no leave the party and find another party that fits your play style.

I always put it on sequential loot when I'm PT leader.
It should definately be the default.

Agree, they asking we heal them but they never give us loot.I even see 1 fighter just fight without using any skill and just keep yelling his poor cleric(his teammate) to heal him(Rude word:HEAL ME U ***hole) .After he kill the mob he take all the loot and he continue fight new mob without giving the cleric chance to rest, end up the cleric need use SP stone to make sure his BEST mate never die. After seeing that i just teach the cleric like saying got delay or whatever let his mate die or leave it.
To cleric, mage and archer player:If the loot is not fair then dont stay any longer just leave it.

I concur with what SpiritS is saying. There is no reason for us (clerics) to put up with the abusive tanks, waste our SP stones / potions so they save their HP stones / potions and get nothing out of it except experience. I hear that clerics have the most skills to buy and they are NOT cheap. We have to pay for our equipment too honey so if you find yourself in a group that only has numero uno as top priority then quit, quit, QUIT!

You don't have to give them an excuse or, if you're one of those soft-hearted people, do what I do: Log out and hopefully, when you log back in they would have kicked you out of the party. Or just tell them politely you have to go, quit the party and use a scroll.

If you're a tough as nails character then you can take any of the advise listed above. I actually like the standing over dead corpse and laughing idea.

Whenever I'm party leader I put it on sequential too, unless someone needs a quest item, only then do I put it on free, and change it back as soon as they complete their quest.

I always put it on sequential when I'm party leader or ask for it to be sequential. I agree, it should be fair and everyone should get drops. And if the leader of your group (whether fighter or some other class) refuses to put it on sequential, just quit the party. No one's requiring you to be there.

Personally, I have quite a few different groups I enjoy working with. Everyone is fair and pulls their weight - and we all get payoff for it.

I really hate fighters who give us a bad name -.- Not all of us are unfair :P

The only time that I have found "The allocaiton of the Supporters" to be bad is when I got stuck with ice pieces for a quest that's nearly ten levels away... Wasted inventory space now.

This is true, I lost 7 silver lumps yesterday because of people up front stealing everything :[.

I'm a warrior and I love Free Allocation! That being said, I still will turn on Sequential Allocation if the party member behind me has no choice except to attack from far away or be screwed. Not all Clerics are apathetic, and not all Warriors are either.

I have a cleric and archer. I think Sequentail should be the default. I tried to get my party ( a pug party) to set it on Seq loot and leader did. The tank got upset and demanded it be set to Free. Well I found out why at the end of the group (we were doing quest in hide out burning hill). He grabbed the drop from Marlone then bragged about it.
only was able to get a little loot. I used up SP pots like crazy because the tank would not allow us to rest. From now on I will just refuse to be in group if its not set to Seq allocation. I make all my own Sp pots to help save money but .. no loot no pots.

As far as getting quest pieces you do not need just destory them ..

SA is fair for everyone, it should be implemented whenever a cleric enters a party

I've nvr been in a FA grinding party b4 unless the PL 4got to set it on SA.
Ask the PL to always set in on SA... and evry party should do this even if the party doesn't have any clerics...

If I'm helping a friend do his/her quest, and the quest requires for them to have the given loot, then it's set as a FA party still i get all the loots except the quest item ones :p

In the end, the only time FA is set is when I'm the party leader and i 4got to set it on SA >_<

I'm rarely in a situation where I NEED to be in a team. If I find myself partied with someone who is being a brat about the items, I have no problems with just leaving. However, most the people I hang out with are pretty nice about it, and some will even give me items I need to make my potions. Tis one fighter even SAVES his potion stuff for me instead of selling it. I try to do the same for him as often as I can. If I find I'm in a place where I can't make it out alive, I stick around until it's safe for me to venture alone. However, like I said, most the people I meet are awesome.

I don't know if that's typical of the Teva server or not, but almost everyone I meet it very nice. ^^ They even say thank you when I rez them, even if I'm in thier party and it's my job.

Idea we pile all our silver together.Form a Guild. And demand payment for our services other wise we take down their names and start a vendetta.
AND THEN we have a game wide revolution just 4 the hell of it.
