How do I fight?

I've been playing some pvp, and I've found one thing that's bothersome. My two main attack methods are to holy strike at people I expect to be dashing towards me, or to grab someone who's standing still and holy strike them. The problem is, I found that if I grab a mage and holy strike them, they have enough time to guard and use their freeze attack before I can guard or get away. So It ends up that against a competent mage, I lose every engagement even if I don't make any mistakes.

What can I do about this?

play better, dont do the holy strike after the grab. i beat most mages in pvp. if they play well i can still stand a very good chance. learn to play without grab and hit them with well timed holy strike

If my available attacks consist solely of Holy Strike, my opponent can just wait for me to use it and kill me when I do. Having only one attack makes you very predictable. And if I can't punish his failed attacks with a grab and attack, what's to keep him from just sitting in one spot and forcing a draw, or a loss if I go to him and get hit?
