It's been posted for quite a while that there will be no more wipes but to answer you question "No" I do not have proof.

Are you sure you're talking about SoS? I kno9w there won't be any more wipes in Fiesta, but I thought for sure there would be a wipe on SoS...

99.9% of the time there is a wipe from closed to open beta. It gets rid of all the anything wrong that happens during that time. Like say exploits that needed to be fixed and such.

If they follow in Fiesta's footsteps, there WILL be a whipe or two before finally moving on. Since this is Closed Beta for them I would assume there will be a whipe. But again, that's me assuming such based on their first game.

You know what?
I am in the wrong forum again, LOL
I was talking about Fiesta.
My apologies.
I am not accustom to there being two forums yet.
Yeah, if Solstice is in closed beta then there will likely be a complete wipe.
:D

It's not sure yet...
GMs say they arent sure if there will be a Wipe or not.
(someone asked Rider today, and he said he wasnt sure).

omg if there IS a wipe..then wahts the point of training your guy to a high lvl? when it's gonna be gone and u just wasted your time with all that training =/ no offence or anything but thats kinda lame

@azn3dvietboy:
actually, when people train to a high lvl in CBs,
they usually do it to see if there are any bugs in higher lvl quests, skills, weapons etc.
there is also the recent cases of which people get a rollback at lvl 44, right before their second job change.
so no, it's not lame and it's not a waste of time~ it's all for the purpose of CBing <3
bugs don't only occur in lower lvls, you know ;D

there is a 90% chance of there being a character wipe since if they don't,
it'll be quite unfair to new players. about 95% of CBs i've been in (whether it's english, korean or japanese),
all of them have wipes to them, but CB testers have rewards given to them in result of it. not all, though~

There isn't anything supporting either side. GMs have said nothing about a wipe, so we must wait until they say something.

I'd like to just mention one thing though. Even if a lot of other games wipe after CB, it doesn't mean that this one will. If you guys support a wipe, then there will most likely be one.

There are ups and downs to both sides. If we get a wipe, all the players will start from the same point, and it'll give a fairer start to everything. Downside, not everyone is in it to find bugs. I can bet that at least 50% *at the very least* are in it to enjoy the game before.

If we don't get a wipe, the economy already has a very good footing. All the newer players will have a shot at getting some of the items we've already had a chance to get. Also, we won't have 300 people in the beginning areas trying to level up. Thus, a huge drop in crowding. Downside, players who start will complain about not having a "fair" shot at being top in the game. *maybe 25% of the newer players are worried about that kinda stuff anyway...*

Don't drop the idea of keeping everyone at their levels just because you want to be "fair." You also want to keep other ideas in mind before making the choice.

actually, i have to agree with him. i would liek it not to wipe so i dont have to go through that again. but if they are to not wipe it. they would need to act fast and make open beta, or shut down server's soon. so far, people are only ahead by a few day's thats nothing. but if this draw's out, it will be unfairly unbalanced. economy only grow's when there is a substantial population of high level character's. i hope i dont need to explain the rest.

Thus the idea of the second-third waves of CB players. If we spread out when players join in, we can control the rate at which thet players become higher levels. This can prevent the need for a wipe due to economic problems. If the GMs decide to do this, it'll be a very smart move on that part.

Chances are there are not going to be more invite's. but i do not know that for a fact. i've already heard that CBT is supposed to close soon. but then again that could mean at the end of the week.
