How do you feel about reviving other people in the field?

If I'm not busy, and the person isn't a KSer or bot, I have no problem reviving people. But there's something that doesn't make sense to me. You can get to pretty much any sub-40 area in less than two minutes. Especially if you are say...at the entrance to moonlight tomb of collapsed prison, why would you ask for a revive? It's going to take longer for a cleric to halt his/her group to run to you, than it would for you to make the 20 second run back to the entrance.

The other thing I wish I could sticky across the class forums is:


Once we see you, you don't need to keep spamming "REV!" over and over. If there are more than one person dead near you, you also, don't need to keep spamming "REV!". The spell has a cooldown. Be patient.

I generally don't res people if they're only 5 min from town. I hate beggers in places like Moonlight Tomb... the freakin town is right next door!!!

Now if it was burning hill or something, I'll res them IF they're near me. I'm not gonna travel across a map to res someone.

Yah I hate it when they don't say please or anything. It feels more like a demand or that we're automatically suppose to revive them.

One of the reasons I've stopped playing my cleric...it gets VERY annoying after awhile when "OMG REZ" or "HURRY REV" fills up my chat log especially when I'm busy or my revive is still on CD.

I would usually revive people who ask for it anyway no matter how annoying they are.

I have no issues with reviving people as long as they are almost polite about it. Saying "cleric rez me now" is a good way for me to run over to them, start to cast rez, then hit my heal button and stop to taunt them with it. After I heal, I'll dance 3 on their corpse until they get the clue that clerics are as much of a team as anyone else, and we're not slaves.

Agree with everyone. I am tired of people laying somewhere can i get a rez in XX. I am like next time party with one. Or just don't die. If i see someone and they are not spamming for a rev i revive them.

Hmm. Depends on my mood.. but sometimes i Randomly Rev people even if they don't ask.. and it depends on how they ask for rev.. if they don't place their coordinates i snob it..

If someone asks me for a rev without a complete sentence, I always tell them to learn how to properly beg and then try again. And that's it. I ignore them past that.

We should get a "Corpse Stumbler/Finder/Hunter" title for reviving people without them giving coordinates.

If that was a title there should be 3 more for class specifications i.e. Tanker for fighter or Nuke for mage or Kite for archer or something.

Anyway...
I revive people no matter what coz i'm nice, just depends if i can make it. I can try but the reason they died could be of aggros so reviving them first instead of healing myself feels awkward (evne though i use invincibiltiy skills :P). Someitmes people get mad at me coz it's hard to click the circle sometimes because there an be a monster on him/her or like a rock... I ask to join party real quick but i don't think they can.

I rev pepole all the time no matter where they stand.

Is it that when you die you already lose your EXP so there's no point in reviving (unless you don't want to run back to the map)? I used to think that but i revive people anyway coz i'm not doing anything important most of the time.

If I can see you, I'll res you, I generally won't run around a map to look for anyone.

If I see you fighting, I'll throw a heal on you, especially if I see you fighting something I feel may be tough, and if I think your not doing well I'll heal you right through the whole fight.

If you ask for a heal, I'll consider it based on your danger, my SP, and what I'm doing at the time, but your probably typing because your in no danger.

If you say help, you have my attention & aid if you look to need it.

Then you get the retards, like one in the sea of greed. I'm out of SP, I mushroom to regen, a warrior runs over to my mushroom & says "heal", I respond from my regening mushroom "lol". Warrior then calls me an "a s s". I'm regening my mana, you can regen your health, and yes "NATURALVIOLET" I just called you a retard. You will never get a res or heal from me ever :)

ill rez if im close and not doing anything else important. if you die when your right next to me and im grinding or such, ill rez no prob, as soon as i take care of the mobs that are around so we both dont die in the process.

and i agree, ill heal if you look like you need it, or if your taking on a harder mob ill watch and see how your doing. if your holding your own i might heal or cast invincible just for fun. but i expect a thank you =_=

I will Revive people when you are near me as long as you never Kser or you near with the town gate and I didnt fighting mob.

I will heal you as long as you in danger.I will cure you if you got Bleeding or Posion no mather who you are.I even cast invicible on player when they are danger.

Somehow,I don know that is it player nowsday had losing all their manner or not,All i ask for is a simple thanks after cleric have save you.Dont just stand up(after revive) and run away.

PERSONAL idea,WHY DONT WE CLERIC DO A POST PUTTING ALL THOSE RUDE FIGHTER NAME AND MAKE SURE those fighter do not get our buff,cure,heal or revive 4ever.Lets call it Hall of Shame or smth else.Anyone agree?
