Ok. This is how you deal with that hotkey addition issue:

Look at your hotkey bar, find the circle looking thingy on the right-hand side of the bar. See the the symbol that looks like a = sign next to it? Click on the = in the tiny bubble. I believe 4 clicks should either max out the hotkeys or reset it to 1. If it maxes out but doesn't reset to one, give it one more click.

omg yur a genius lol, i clicked it 4 times and thought that it would just keep duplicating i didnt think that the fifth time it would get rid of them :P

The other little round button will turn a hotbar on its end. Effectively making it a sidebar :)

Learning your interface is vital in games.
