Hey everyone, I'm new to Fiesta, I just started playing last night. I just had a couple questions that I wanted to ask. (I had a bunch, but now I can hardly remember any...I need to start writing them down. -_-)

Ok, heres one. What would be a good level to start Forrest Mist? (I think thats the name, or its the other way around, I can't remember.) I'm a level 12 mage, and I just fought a rat man and got my @ss handed to me by him. If I would have hit him with all my spells, then I would have won, but I didn't. 3 out of the 4 spells hit, but one missed and thats what let him kill me. The Phino's... They're a little iffy. The regular Phino's I can beat, but they Phino flies (or what ever they're called) give me a bit of a problem. Especially in Echo Cave.

Thats another thing, what would be a good leve to do Echo Cave at? I have to go get some items for 2 blacksmiths in Echo Cave, but the last time I was in there I died in my first fight. (And I think I was level 11, with the same spells I have now.)

What level do you advance to Wiz Mage at? Are there other levels for Mages too?

How many enemies do you have to kill to earn a title? Take Lizard Killer for example, how many lizardmen do I have to kill to get that title?

Whats with the academy? I enrolled but it still doesn't say [Academy] above my name, yet I see it all over Fiesta. Maybe its because I joined a guild then tried enrolling with a group? Anyone have any idea's as to whats happening?

Also (And this is just a random question, so feel free to ignore it) why are there such powerful enemies in the starting area's? Take Sand Beach for example. If I recall right, the sign says level 5-11. Yet in the middle of sand beach, there are Little Lizardmen who can kill you in 1 hit. I believe that I fought one at level 8, and he did over 300 damage with one hit. If he can still do that much damage to me, at level 12, then I'd still die in one hit. (I only have 177 HP, before he did 300+ damage.) And I'm a level above what the sign says.

With that being said, why are there powerful monsters like them in low level player area's? More then a couple times I ran into something that could kill me in one hit while I was exploring, and it made me not want to go back to that area cause I was afraid I'd just die again as soon as I got teleported there. I think that it kinda ruins the experience for new players.

Also, whats the level cap at? Is there even one? Cause I seen some items that said they couldn't be used till level 4000, or 3500, or something really high like that. But I didn't really think they meant your overall level, cause wouldn't it take like 3 years to reach that high of a level? I think it would for me, I've been playing the game all day and only went up 2 or so levels. And I'm only at level 12, so I can level pretty fast compared to someone who's at level 30 or 40.

I'm gonna add more questions as I think of them. Thanks for your help everyone.

Welcome! Feel free to ask us when you have questions. When you're in an academy, you can ask them for (hopefully) instant answers.

Ok, heres one. What would be a good level to start Forrest Mist?

Forest of Mists is ~level 11-21. The Mini-Greenkies are level 11. It's a challenge for a mage at those levels unless you have Defense Scrolls and/or an Endure buff (given by a kind lvl 47+ cleric and increases your HP/SP).

Thats another thing, what would be a good leve to do Echo Cave at? I have to go get some items for 2 blacksmiths in Echo Cave, but the last time I was in there I died in my first fight. (And I think I was level 11, with the same spells I have now.)

Hooligan Phinoflies are lvl 12, so they may give a lvl 12 mage some trouble. And they aggro, so they'll attack you when you're in range. I'd suggest leveling a bit when going after them. Also, stay away from the Cave Archmage Books. They're level 30 mobs.

What level do you advance to Wiz Mage at? Are there other levels for Mages too?

At level 20, you'll receive the title WizMage and you can do your job change so you can equip level 20+ gears and use level 20+ skills.

How many enemies do you have to kill to earn a title? Take Lizard Killer for example, how many lizardmen do I have to kill to get that title?

The titles <monster> killer come from licenses applied to your weapon at the Weapon Title Merchants. For more information on the Licenses, you can check out the very informative Wiki: http://www.fiestafan.com/wiki/Licenses

Whats with the academy? I enrolled but it still doesn't say [Academy] above my name, yet I see it all over Fiesta. Maybe its because I joined a guild then tried enrolling with a group? Anyone have any idea's as to whats happening?

If you don't have [Academy][Guildname] over your head, you're in the guild, not the academy. A benefit of being in an academy is you get rewards set by the Academy Master when you level. The rewards can be money, weapons or items.

To join an academy, you'll first have to leave the guild. To leave, hit G for the guild menu, click Menu and click "Leave Guild." From there, click the tab next to Guild for Guild Academy, click "Enroll Academy" and type in the academy name you want to join. I'd recommend picking an academy from one of the top ranked academies. They typically give the best rewards.

Well, that's for players who want to do their 20-something quests in different areas. The mobs shouldn't hit you for 300+ still since you've gotten more def when you leveled (not to mention new armors with more def).

With that being said, why are there powerful monsters like them in low level player area's? Some might find being 1-hit by a monster a reason to go out and level so they can in turn 1-hit the monster.

Also, whats the level cap at? Is there even one?

The level cap is currently 89.

Cause I seen some items that said they couldn't be used till level 4000, or 3500, or something really high like that. Anything with a level requirement that high means a skill level. It is some kind of production skill, such as Pots, Stones, Scrolls, Composition or Decomposition.

I'm gonna add more questions as I think of them. Thanks for your help everyone.

We welcome your questions and hope we can help answer them. ^^ I hope my answers help.

Wow, I didn't expect anyone to answer all my questions, let alone so informatively. I can't thank you enough, your answers really help me a lot. Now I can plan out how to go about certain tasks, and not just keep trying to fight monsters every level. I didn't know that Fiesta had a wiki page, I'll have to check that out to try and find some more info. Thanks again. ^^
