Why would you want an invisible helmet, it defeats the purpose of even buying one.

Theres a lot of people who don't have SC and have default hair.

Anyway, he's talking about an invisible or visible option, you can change it ANYTIME if you don't want it visible then switch it to invisible so we can see your glorious afro. Simple as that.

You don't buy helmets for your characters? After all, since they don't appear on your character's head they're obviously invisible- so what's the purpose of even buying one? :rolleyes:

Perhaps in your haste to fire off some (weak) attempt at sarcasm, you failed to note that "invisible" is exactly what we have now: the helmet is invisible on your character, but shows up in inventory and adds def/mdef and any stat bonuses the helmet might have. So there's the answer to your "purpose of even buying one" argument.

Or do you really not wear helmets since the lack of visibility of the helmet "defeats the purpose" of gaining extra def, mdef, and possibly extra stats?

Wearing mask would be fun,,, (wishful thinking in 3,2,1): I wish my char could wear silver face mask (silver Paladin/gold crusader mask >.>) that wouldn't block his hair etc...
(wishful thinking ending, thank you for your patience).

Anyhow, back on topic: I like the idea of having helmet visibility turned on/off because it would allow the player to add another level of uniqueness to their character. However, I wonder how big the fiesta file would get if such feature were added.... extra nif files, etc...(Santa's little helper: too costly)... nice idea.

It's funny, I actually thought this exact same option would be pretty cool at one point. Like TC says, it would be an on/off option that you wouldn't be FORCED to wear, so you can still see your faces. This may sound biased, but I'd be interested in the Archer "Helmets" since they are more like bandannas or other headgear than helmets. It sucks that this option probably would automatically de-equip some SC headgear, so the idea isn't really plausible. Nevertheless, It'd be a nice option to have and would diversify player looks a bit more :p
