Yo, I'm Back and im done playing till OBT! i've played this game through and through... if you have any ask your questions here. though i may not know everything, i'm very knowledgable in all the classes. There is a High Probablility that the CBT is going to end soon. and i dont really feel like competing for the highest lvl. so, ask away, And anyone may ask, or answer questions if they know the answer! let's keep this post going.

Don't be shy to ask any question concerning the game. I'm happy to announce there has yet to be a question i couldnt answer, or a problem i couldn't solve!

1. only 1 per lvl, but every 5 digit you get 2, and every 10 digit you get 3 i think... so lvl's 1-4 1 stat point, lvl 5 2, lvl 6-9 1, lvl 10 3, 11-14 1 , 15 2, 16- 19 1, 20, 3. correct me if im wrong.

2. all skills can be maxed, if you have the Skill book and the lvl Req. high lvl skill books are tough to find. any skill book's lvl 50+ can be sold for some cash.

3. only Base lvl.

4.exp is divided evenly among party member's, u get 10% more xp per individual class. 1 rogue, 1 fighter, 1 xenian, 1 acolyte, 1 mage = 50% extra xp, divided by 5. 2 rogue 1 fighter, 2 acolyte, 1 mage, - 40% extra xp divided by 6.

5.very easy, click to select. when selected press hotkey's for correct spell. if you cast the wrong spell on a selected target,(ally only etc.) mouse point becomes a "Cast Spell on Target Curser".

6.Personally, i think there are more begginer's quests in S.O.S. than in RO. but that's just my opinion.

3. no, everything is quite cheap. after you reach lvl 30 money is never a issue.

just today i gave away like 500k and 2 yellow 1 blue lucky balls...

Xenian: Newb, Novice, beginner.... need i say more?

Fighter: Can be good DPS or a good tank. can solo white names wiht quite ease. but with red mob's in a party. a healer is required.
advances:Xenian > Fighter > Knight > Warrior > Warlord

Rogue: easy to get in and out of battle, note agi is not always a good thing, 2 points of agi give 1 point of what pow gives, i've heard the extra atk speed isnt always that great since you are spamming skills. they have great a great poison atk which locks the target. and another poison DoT atk, early on.
Advances: Xenian > Rogue > ???? > Assassin > Felon


Archer: Require's lvl 45, all Rogue skills are wiped. archers are great For Straight DPS. meaning all atk, they have a great starter skill which slows enemy, and also has a % chane to bind target for 2 sec. with a full pow build you will do about 150-190 dmg, i may be a little off. they have great skills in revealing enemy's aoe's and arrow effects(slow, poison etc.)
Advances: Xenian > Rogue > Archer > Scouter > ????

Mage: Amazing DPS class, but like the archer poor in def and hp. they by far in my opinion do mroe dmg than any other class at equal lvl. they are fun for any nuke happy player.
Advancement: Xenian > Mage > ???? > ????

Acolyte: Also a fun class, you can sort of Solo with this character. after you get illusion quake lvl 2 the enemy slow's dramatically and can be used for helping party member's and sometimes soloing. Sprit, an amazing skill that paralyzes enemie's for 5 sec or until atked. % chance after mob exceeds sprit lvl. and finally buffs and heal. how can you deny amazing buffs and heal? at lvl 41 healing is some where around 140hp per cast which is alot. Buff's help dramatically in battle and become stronger with level's. at lvl 46 Aco's also get an amazing ressurections skill but require reagants.
Advancement: Xenian > Acolyte > Clergy > Priest > Bishop

Predictor: Now this is the class i am, i am VERY disapointed with it... It's def is lower than fighter and thief, atk is also lower than fighter and thief, easily. Skill effect's are sorta ok, like archer you lose ALL aco skill's meaning, no heal. The atk skill Holy Crash, is ok. it's not strong but has a % chance of stunning and reduces enemy's skill and magic rating's. Brace, and Protection are the Self Buffs of Predictor... ya thats right Self Buffs. Brace increases atk pow, and protection def, which still makes it dmg and def weaker than rogue and fighter. the lvl 46 skill is somewhat handy, but not yet. it removes negative buffs like Stun and confuse. a beggining skill called Assist heal is not even worth casting. it is a HoT that does 240hp/12-15 sec, yes 12-15 not 10. one handy skill but still does not make this class any better is Time Shield at lvl 51. it stuns a target for 6 seconds, but i believe it has a long cooldown.
Advancement: Xenian > Acolyte> Predictor > Cleric > SellLord

a predictor Can sorta solo, nothing that has even the slightest tint of red tho, i can guarantee that.

1. low dmg
2. no really battle decisive skills
3. no real healing spells ( i mean the HoT 240hp/12-15sec is about 1/4 what monster's do to you a hit every 1-2 sec.)and monster's at that lvl do about 60-100 dmg.
4. some of the lowest def i've ever seen...
5. the starting hp and hp gained is lower than that of an Acolyte. (NO LIE) i compared it, with many other's.

Starting HP is like 300.
With stamina points put in, a good amount. i Died in 2-4 hit's on monster's near my lvl.

I've played some MMORPGs and always go with the fighter/mercenary/knight type. I was wondering if the fighter has the best DEF in game and best HP, along with whether they can solo or if they die REALLLYYYY fast.

Fighter's have the Highest Def in game, and the highest hp naturally and gained. they are also a wonderful solo class you can even solo 1v1 red's but 1v2 may be pushing it without an aco. this game is geared towards the point where you Beg for a aco, or a priest your lvl to join u XD

the XBI event? i think they posted winners for that in one of the event notices... i dont know all the winner's for sure because i dont remember where that post is, but i've seen it. not to sound ****y i was just lucky. i was the first one to find Madison the informant!

it's a neat class, and it doesn't completely suck. it's more of a semi support along with semi atking. it can be very strong. but at first, it is not good against anything in salem until atleast lvl 51. that's when the fun starts!

The magician is pretty sweet on attack. Even though i've only played less than a day the slow down with ice and then hammering with mindbuster is pretty nice. After Magician is Mage, then Wizard, then Archmage from what I see listed. Talk to the SoS Guide about armor and you can see all the weapons and such for each class. Also on occasion you get random +1 drops of weapons or armor. I've only had a low level +1 cleric wand drop so far.

lol, i know how you feel. you can try to solo on white named monster's. but the best way is to join a party. be their main healer and support. always keep a fat stack of mp pot's and always keep them at 100%. this is the way to make great friends and gain the trust of other's.

Reach lvl 16, talk to Reimoth. she will then give you a quest to find the pendants 1/4 , 2/4, 3/4, and 4/4 return to her you will be teleported to your class npc. stats reset, and be a mage.

the server may be going through maintenance, there may be something wrong with your isp. but, did you get an email stating you are invited to the Closed Beta of SoS?

hmm; well, can you be more descriptive? were you able to log in? if so, you will be directed to the Server List Window. Here you will select the server called "Closed Beta". After entering you will come to a Character Select Screen. You need to select the button named "Create" it will take you to a screen to select "Male" or "Female" Hair style, Hair Color, And last but not least... your name. After doing so, you press Enter and you are taken to a little room which is refered to as "Starting Position". You speak to the NPC and tell her you will meet the Guardian. You will then be teleported to the main town in SoS.

If you are not invited to the CBT, when you try to enter your Username and Password you will get the words.

"There was a problem logging you in.

Please check that your username and password are correct, and that you are running the latest Outspark software.

(Unauthorized: 401)"

1. There is only 1 Spell Caster made towards magic attacks. Acolyte can also use an attack spell but it's more of a support effect (i.e. slow).

2. Fighter is geared towards more def, and more attack depending on build. all their skills that i have seen are made for maximum damage output. a rouge is made to be more of a stealth/effect attacks. they can go invisible and also use attacks with effects such as poison or paralyze(similiar to stone curse). Predictor's are made to be a semi-support with attack that can rival a rogue. they also mainly have effect type skills. such as Time Shield(six second stun).

3. i don't like to answer this question for you should find your own way of playing and your own build. you may ask other's but i hope you find your own.

4. currently in CBT you may reset your stats an unlimited amount of times. i do not know if this will be in OBT, or release.
