Character Wipe

I was just Wondering if Break or Any other GM could confirm if our characters are gonna get wiped or not. I REALLY hope they don't just cuz .. well just because XD. I know alot of people are saying "oh yeah every CBT wipes there servers blah blah blah". But is it possable that you guys wont? Let us know please to get the agoney over with T_T.

I've played Many Many beta's and i can't name a single one i played, read, or was told about that didnt have a CBT wipe.

For that reason, is why there are event's pertaining to the CBT. the highest lvl per class and the lvl 30+ raffle. is to keep player's interested and motivated to play the game. but i can guarantee you, this game is gonna be AMAZING when it comes out.

i havn't come across any bugs or balance issue's, and i ussually find tons in CBT's. they did a really good job. the only thing besides Kat's problem was the Black screen of death at the beggining of CBT opening.

That was my initial goal. However, raising a character is like raising a daughter, pet, or what not. You spend most of your life taking car of it, loving it, helping it, etc., only to have it die due to cancer or a heart attack, or whatnot.
It is an obligation, but there are times when you enjoy it and there are times when you don't.

In this case it's like raising a daughter whose not yours but an acquaintance's who requested for you to assist her due to an immediate reason unknown to you, ..., so you take care of him/her, after many years she comes back and takes her away for good. You loved the child, he or she (...) was not perfect, but you loved it, regardless. ...It's the same thing.

I hope I've made my point in a way that would touch the hearts of those who have yet to understand the matter at hand. And let us all hope that one of the moderators has a kid or a pet or whatnot and, thus, sympathize.

It's to make sure that those who are selected have a responsibility to search for bugs instead of becoming the "best". Outspark already messed up the meaning of CB by inviting well over 200-500 people for Fiesta and I'm assuming SoS. In the end there's only like 2 people actually looking for bugs instead of all the people invited

Same. I, not sure about the rest, do various things just to see if there's a possibility of a bug or something that can be abused (and report, obviously). But most of the time I, of course, spend for my personal gain.

Why must you people be so selfish? Understand, I haven't seen anyone make fun of a newbie for not knowing how to do this and that. Here's the ratio, 1:7:2, with 1 being looking down upon them, 7 being ignoring them, and 2 being helping them. Believe me I spend a lot of time in the beginning seeing whom I can assist. ...I actually sometimes think that I'm the only one. Everyone else just...sits there and converse with each other. Perhaps I overestimated the helping part. Regardless, the point is, that no one makes fun of anyone. I only look down upon people who ignore common sense and have little to no intelligence.

Okay, oh my god. It's a game. If you can honestly compare your online character to your son/daughter, I'm scared you meet you.

By doing what they have done, bugs have been reported. That was the whole point of Closed Beta. Wiping the system and fixing what was wrong can clear up most of the reported mess so they can start again. Which would lead to Closed Beta 2. Unless they have a positive outlook on the game as is. Then the release of Open Beta will be here.
This gives them an advantage. The only reason I can think of that they wouldn't wipe, would be because the players persuaded them not to do so.

There Is 100% going to be a wipe at some point before Official release. If the Outspark team decides to not wipe between CB-> OB, it is only because they are still testing. HOPE that they wipe when we go into OB, so we wont have to deal with another one ( Pending a large bug, such as duping or XP bug ).
