Dealing w/ Rogues

Hi all~ first post :)
As you know, priests are often the favourite targets of Rogues. In most of the battles that I've been in, I usually know that a rogue is behind me, but I don't have any good strategies to fend them off except to run into a crowd or weak attacking madly behind and in front of me.

Any ideas about fighting them off "professionally"?

I is a Mage, but this is how I go about it. Basically if I notice an inviso Rogue is behind me, I start weak attacking and jumping randomly until I hit him. Well not so much randomly, but what looks to be random. Anyways, when you uncover a Rogue behind you, start getting away. Take short stops, quickly drop down, or jump over him/her. If s/he comes too close, whack em again with a weak attack. Eventually the Rogue will get bored, or some others will help you kill him/her.

If I see a rogue I just run to a different area and fight there since, more often than not, the rogue has just made the fight 2v1 and I'm outnumbered anyway, so there's no point in fighting a losing battle. A lot of the time, the rogue will just go for someone else nearby in which case I can get him when he comes out of hiding.

If the rogue isn't hiding, then that's different. I'll just treat them the same way as anyone else 1v1. I keep running and throw a well-timed holy strike whenever I expect them to land from a jump, drop down from a ledge, or run at me.

If you notice/think a rouge went invisible and after you, try jumping and or dashing. Because you would see or hear those effects like when one is dashing or jumping (and heal yourself enough while you do that).

Im a noob rogue, so you probably can kill me easy with any jobs xD

i just activate wicked protection and self heal alot
