game wont let me play!!! help please

every time i try to play it works fine until i hit the create button....at that point a little box comes up saying that the program has to shut down....

Same here some people say that you have to download the graphic drivers but I think its something else.

I also think that the problem lies within the graphic's section.

That, or the file is corrupted. Try reinstalling the game in a different location (preferably Disc D).

I doubt it is the graphics because ive tried loading the drivers and nothing has happned. And I hope someone can say how to fix this soon its kind of annoying to have the game and not being able to play it.

Wait a minute. Does it open up as a window or full screen?

Its a window. And if it is a graphical error then the gm's should put them to download when you first install SOS, so you wont have to deal with the trouble installing them later.

This is what you have to do.

Go to the game's directory and open up SosSetup.exe. Then, check the Full-screen. Choose any resolution you want. The rest is personal preference. This'll open it up. I guarantee it.

A GM is a GM. Their job is to moderate the game and make sure that everything goes well and be there for the members when they need 'em, for whatever reason there is. I believe that what you're looking for is a member of the Outspark's staff. ...Which is something that you're doing in vain.

k the problem i am having that i'm sure almost all of us are having is we download the game open it up select a server and when we go to create a character and we get a windows error report were we can hit send erro report or dont send. does any1 no how to get passed that?

download it and install it!!!
then try to play....
Ps:I just hacked the game with 9999999999 hp......It dosn't have any protection so your account might be at risk and the game SUCKS!!!!!!!

if its a black screen error try updating your graphics esp ati and other but!!! if ur using nvidia some players told me not to update it but rather downgrade it its is more on open gl connection where every graphics hardware comes with..

about the resolution never change the resolution of your sos client, gm says its still not fixed

about the hack uhmm if u have 99999... hp why i havent see u in game which proves that ur a hgh lvl char XD that just bump XD XD XD

how about trying a new graphics card, you want a really good one if you want to play the game without any lag. my comp laggs sooo much in crowded areas i barely even move lol but thats why you want a good graphics card

wow dont you have anything better to do than hack games? i mean, its just a game, you seriously must have no life if you do stuff like that. hacking an online game...wow. and yes if you played for a week youd see a bug about once a week, i usually see the one with all the slimes spawing at the same spot so that theres like 20 of them there.

well, could you elaborate? do you mean an area that is kind of like a deck with some chairs, overlooking the city and the ocean? cuz if thats so, then click on the create character where the goddess teva tells you to. or do you mean the server select screen? its where this cat-thing thats pink pops up, chases a ball, then runs away becuase a big cartoony dragon lands there? in that case, i suggest redownloading it, or just waiting a while. your comp is probably just slow

The furthest the game will allow me to go is to the character select screen, and i havent made a character yet. when i click "create", to make a new character, the microsoft error report thing IMMEDIATELY pops up, and the game closes IMMEDIATELY after you choose whether to send the error report or not.

sorry for this double post, but i got the problem solved

it WAS the video driver. go to the client download page and find a driver for your graphics card.
