Item Market Idea

I think that these fourms should carry out some ingame Marketing or NPC ingame that you can place an AD for SELLING or BUYING items ...

Anyone think that having a Market Place for items ONLY INGAME is a good idea?

Got a link, in game, you go to the community button on the bottom right of the screen, there you may coose to either buy or sell items. You can set exactly how many and how much you want for each item. While you type a name for your store or an advert to bring in customers (Must be away from another vendore or NPC)

LOL, you need a forum, people in other MMORPG's that don't allow the shops like this game does, are begging the admins to make them so that they get to have it so much easier when marketting. Besides, everyone watches the game screen, damn near nobody watches the forums.

everyone i talked to turns off players/shops in town due to lag, every party im in there might be one who dont rest leave party and /w afterwards to regroup, shops are GREAT but there are like 50 in a 5 foot radius mass lag, im sorry i dont have a great PC but i meet all the recom. specs, just nice to run in run out, sometimes i try to look at shops, but a forum would be nice i see enough people o here, but your probley right not enough on here, they just need a 20 foot radius per shop or something and put them away from the Respawn spot and KQ spot

Just give me a bit of time.. i am working on a small Forum like system... (that has nothing to do with the staff here - if they disapprove i will cease programming).

There you will be able to register characters and put in the amount of stuff you buy or sell. Then others can login and make their deals with you. Each user can make - like in ebay - comments to others, but only after a deal was set. That way it can be ensured that users really use this system and not just put in dream values... Its kinda at the beginning but it will work soon enough..

lol, almost every single mmo ive played has this shop thing. The shop feaure is nothing new... kinda old and played out imo

They should make a browsable list of products available for sale / buy, like in everquest.
It will make the search for item / prices much less tedious.

not everyone can play games all day and reach level 40 in lesss than a week ok .. lvl 20 took me like 2 weeks ..... and i even played when i shouldnt have .. just to try to get into those kingdom quests... and i never get anything worth going for .. all my chests all empty or i get a lucky elrue or something... not worth all the potions i spend ...

I would like to be able to place an Item on a forum where people would bid for the item and be able to EARN copper silver trade whatever.. i have a hardtime earning 1 silver ... it takes me 1 hunting run all day mearly.. + i have a lvl 42 ring i wanna get rid of and i dont even know how much its worth... i can prob sell it to the shop for about 400 copper .. .but im sure its worth 100x that ammount lmao....

at least 50 silvers

As far as I know a forum can be one of the best ways of setting up a propr market system. For one all members could easily check it to see what is selling for what. Also how many people want to sit as mushrooms all day trying to sell something? Defiently not me because I'd rather be playing most the time then sitting. So if we had forum we could sell items quicker and more easily then what is set up now.

But then I would also have to say having a system for which you can send the item and get money in return and that can cause scamming to occur. You have to look at this from all angles. The good effects could be instead of being able to sell there you could ask simple questions about what a good price would be for your item. Simple as that.

It is really up to the programmers to decide for how much work they want to put into this because something like this can become extremely complicated. Or from what I've experienced in gameplay and it isn't as extensive as some.

i do think a forum could be a good idea if done corectly due to shops and lag issues plus if your not at a comp. with fiesta installed you might be looking for a weapon or item for your character and just get on the forum to check avalability and prices.

I havent read everything but here's my thought.

You should be able to pick the item you want,
And place Silver up.

Then the seller can browse who's looking for what and then Sell it to them for the silver/copper.

Then that way you get a in game message that you have items in you inbox or w/e.

Maybe the seller can leave a note saying if you pay say 10S insteald of 7 they will sell it to you. Or something like that.

The best idea about this is to stop the cause of lag and frustration of people searching those mushroom seller people things lol .... THERE IS OVER 100 PEOPLE IN TOWN like come on .... A forum is the best opprotunity to free alot of lag and help people find and sell what they want ALOT faster... Fiesta would grow because of it!

Being able to sell items over the forum and receiving without finding the person afterwards ... would be and excellent program as " Lebatt " had stated ... IT would be something GRAND something NEW something PERFECT!
