CLERICS ARE HEALERS OF THE WORLD OF ISYA! But not when it comes to other stuff... like stronger melee skills? There should be additional skills for all classes. Clerics should have like something I call the Stop Dash. Its a skill I JUST thought of and its pretty cool. It's a ranged attack and it's the animation of the cleric dashing faster tan normally, and getting like a stab or a whack at the opponent before he even notices. 200-250 additional melee damage. Cool time - 30 secs. You get the skill at like lvl 30 or something.

This is the 50 topic talk about new atk skills for cleric, but u must understand cleric is a support class not a fighter class.
Btw from livel 89 to 120 (in korean version)cleric learn a new atk skill (give like 100% critical hit) and some debuff for PvP and vs monsters.
But pity we havent a AoE atk skill.
So be patience when we have the new update.

Clerics are treated like crap in terms of offensive skill.

We have no choice but to deal with it or play a different class.

And like the post before me said, there will be at least one more offensive skill added during the next cap raise. So we'll have 3 in total (bash, trip/bleed, w/e the new skill is).

I would prefer to not have to wait 89+ levels to get a third attack. :( Having it available around 55-60 would be reasonable.

i agrre with the OP.i know im new here but i dont understand why everyone refuses to give the cleric a fighting chance. true, clerics are a support class, but it doesnt mean that we HAVE to suck at fighting.some say that if were given more fighting skills wed be overpowered.this is just faulty reasoning. ive played an mmo where the healer class had one of the best aoe skill ingame and yet class balance was still maintained. im not asking for a huge aoe skill that smashes all..but i would like to see one more attack skill before i reach 80.

lol why need another attack...i love playing cleric, dont have to push too much keys and you can sit back and relax and watch your cleric do the hard yards really slowly. and to all those people who whine about clerics low dmg..GET USE TO IT!!! OR PICK ANOTHER CLASS

honestly a cleric, w/ the right gears, can out live any attack (during a 1on1 pvp fight) making fighters think "its a waist of time and stones to fight a cleric" and runing, or a seemingly never ending battle of a cleric and fighter going at it but during this fight: the fighter is overwhelmed cause of the clerics ability to heal and not have to use stones until stun and when stun ends the cleric can multi heal making the fighter have to start all over again…
to warp this small pvp scenario up the fighter runs out of hp stones and gives up and/or will ask if the cleric wants to give up. (lols)

Support Clerics FTW!!

I dont know about you guys but end game your become a paladin...and paladin are suppose to be in between melee powerhouse and holy healer damager...so i dont see any reason why they shouldnt give more atck skills...if not they should even call it paladin but PRIEST!!!

They really messed up their concept of a paladin

Let's face it, until subclasses are introduced to Fiesta, clerics will always be on the fence...It just so happens that we're leaning more to the support side...Unfortunately, you can only balance for so long before you fall to either side and accept it. That usually happens at about lvl 50+

I've pretty much accepted the fact that clerics are a support class, but I do my best to fight when I can. There's no sense wasting a classes ability.

I thought sub classes were already introduced cleric--> high cleric.... etc, super class (cleric)- sub class (etc) model 0_0. Later on sub class have branching class 0_0. T-T I guess they weren't, now I know why my cleric fights like a priest T-T.

Anyway, doesn't mighty punch etc just replace trip/bleed like stun and deva?( <-- I would really like to know this answer, if anyone play alt version of fiesta). And the cool time on benediction 0_0.... (not even worth counting it as another skill >.>)

You're saying that it wasn't implemented because implementing it would be reasonable? That sounds like typical Fiesta logic (:rolleyes:), but maybe I misunderstood you...

Ive been also thinking that too. Everyone has been saying clerics should get an aoe attack i think that too even thought it might not happened so soon. But ive been thinking that besides a aoe attack clerics should have a ranged attack too like superslayer said. All the other classes has a ranged skill. Mages and Archers basically are born with ranged skills. And also fighters there stun can be used from a close running distance( which i hate. Because sometimes i am running from fighters in pvp areas and they stun me while i am a running from them when it seems that can't use their stun to me that far away)................Any way yea just saying

according to fiestaonline.net, the lvl 95 skill for clerics is called "reverse order," and it "Unables your opponent to use SP skills by cursing him/her with God's power." The cooldown is 10 seconds. I don't mind waiting til lvl 110 to be able to skill spam attacks if at 95 i can severely frustrate people with that skill every 10 seconds ;3

clerics are a support class,i mean were the only class that can heal and rev but personally id love to have 1 more atk skill.i dont see why a lot of people are so afraid of giving clerics an aoe attk.i mean, we cant always get pts,even as a cleric.and there are times that we have to solo.an aoe would be a big help.

I think Cleric's are a hybrid class the only reason we don't get an aoe is because this version follow's the korean version. Having played the Japanese version when I visted Japan a while back the role of cleric does not differ that much. And since, OS considers any other version or any other company running the same thing as its own entity sort of I will refrain from speaking about the differences they have. <---this information is easy to attain with/ without having played the other version, fortunately I have.

I think there are many factors as to why clerics haven't received an aoe. However, since many of these aspects can not be verified as players we can merely speculate. Without stretching too thin, I think one facet that is often overlooked is that if a cleric gains an aoe, this new ability would slightly unbalance the cleric's economic power in comparison to the other classes. What I mean is a cleric gaining an aoe would allow them to make more income, while retaining the ability to battle longer than most classes. This is merely one benefit. However, I think if clerics did get an aoe the division between party cleric (Guardian) and solo cleric (HolyKnight) would not diminish at all. Rather, I think the division would remain as is for the most part, some clerics choosing to party in order to level faster (fast..:X) and other would solo in order to getter drops.
And then there's the I am battle cleric I don't have to heal, I have an aoe blah blah blah...giving cleric's a bad name cleric. <---unavoidable

I doubt will cleric will ever get an AoE id like to see it but with 3 ways to heal(hp stones,heal,rejuventae) i think we were meant to be attacked by more then one guy and not being able to pull one monster because we have 3 ways to heal

We do have an AoE guess what it is...

So I think our heal count goes to 5, because I believe we have 2 of these heal multi-players at once skills.
