What is the best empowerment configuration for Fighter skills.

i don't have much experience but as far as i'm concerned the best way to empowerthem is by concentrating one ONE WEAPON - respectively one main skill and one secondary skill ex- a damaging skill and a SORTA LIKE support skill (stun for example)
