Best place to get Summoned Beast Leather (Low quality)?

Ok, if any of you have seen my threads, then you know that I'm making a character for scroll production. I need Summoned Beast Leather (Low Quality) to make first couple potions I can. (Since I'm just starting, I can't make higher level potions yet.) But its really hard for me to find Summoned Beast Leather. Is there any good spots to find it? Or can I buy it?

Ratmen are good for it. What level are you?

Can buy in Elderine if you really want for 60c from Item Merchant Nina. Other monsters that show as 'Summoned Beast' when you click on it (look little icon at the top of screen on right side) will also drop this. Depending on the lvl of the mob, it might be SBL LQ, MQ or HQ

Awesome, thanks guys. And I'm level 16 now. I was fighting Boars for it, cause I need my Boar killer license, so I figured I would kill two birds with one stone. But I killed 30 Boars and got 3 SBL's. But I'll definitely try the Ratmen and the merchant. Thanks again!

I don't recall boars ever dropping SBL. I know they drop BL, but they aren't a Summoned Beast type monster.

Anyways, I always found ratmen were a good source up until I could take on the Little Lizard men. Those were an excellent source of SBL as well for when Ratmen get out of level a bit.

So once you near 20ish, definitely try Little Lizardmen. There's a nice spot in Forest of Mist, D-5 ish, that's great for them. And there's also a little niche in Forest of Tides with them as well.

Awesome, I know right where your talking about in Forest of Tides. I'll definitely check them out when I'm a high enough level.

On an off-topic note: Is it just me, or is the game really laggy today?

Ratmen! They are ugly, but I love them for their SBL (LQ)! :D After them, I really didn't know where to get the SBL (I don't like the Little Lizardmen much). Le sigh. But at least I have the Ice Vivis to contend with now.

If u feel that u need lots of sbl lq I think 20 abyss is the best place to do this now days. though it depends on what class you are I guess. sbl lq is a reg drop in 20 and 30 abyss. The only thing you have to worrie bout in there is PKers

Well I have a couple characters, my strongest (main) is my Mage at level 16. Whats the recommended level for the Abyss? (Or am I just to slow to realize that the 20 and 30 are the levels?) And whats a PK?

PK = Player Kill, when a player kills another in a PvP situation, but is usually not used to refer to guild wars. PKK = Player Killer Killer.

You might be able to take on the mobs in the level 20 Abyss as a 16 mage, but a cleric would be a very, very useful addition. The biggest issue you'd come across in the Abysses is the PKers. Since the level 20 Abyss goes to level 36, you wouldn't stand much chance against the Kill Points (KP) farmers.

At 31, you can get LQ SBL drops from Tomb Foxes. You may have to move on to MQ SBL and get a decomper though if you're still looking for LQ.
