launcher wont let me create a new character

every time i try to click on "create" it automaticaly tells me that the program has encountered a problem and needs to shut down....

did you try reinstalling~?
there might have been a missing or a bad file within the SoS client you installed~

ive tried reinstalling 3 times and the same thing seems to be missing every time...

sorry...im bad at organizing what topics go on what servers.....anyways.... i cant download the drivers to be up to date since i am using a laptop...so yeah.... i noticed another big reason i couldnt play is because i wasnt invited to play before the main release....so yeah...im gonna try to download one more time anyway, and if it doesnt work this time, im giving up forever....

regardless what you're using right now (i'm using a laptop and i was able to update my driver/card),
you have no excuse whatsoever on why you can't update your driver~
PCs and laptops both have the same functions and work the same;~

also, if you can read, then you're most likely able to post in the right section.
unless you're completely new to forums~ but that's not a very likely excuse either
to not be able to post in the right section~ i mean, website issues sure don't seem like
technical problems with the game to me <;~

and i doubt you weren't invite~
if you weren't invited, you wouldn't have been able to download the client in the first place~
you probably just miss the mail (accidentally deleting or something)~
in any case, have you tried the solution in the thread i gave you before~?
