Just a few noobie questions

Hi guys. I just started playing Fiesta a couple hours ago, and I had a couple questions to ask about the game :).

1) The fiesta name colors.. and text that appears above the head. On my game, the colors seem very... neony/mixed and it's confusing me a bit. I was wondering.. if this is maybe a small bug on my game? or maybe it's just the normal. I took a screenshot for an example. I'll post it below.
2) I made an archer, and i'm wondering what stats and skills would be useful.

1. as you can see, your name is purple. that is an indication of telling your character from everyone else. Chartalem has a red name next to his actual name which is called a title. You'll earn those as you get more into the game. The name above some people's names? that's the name of a guild.

2. Archers are built for speed and dexterity. Stats depend on what kind of archer you want to be. You wanna do damage? do you wanna avoid damage?

But those are the actual colors based for the names? Cause names when i'm in game, look like it's one color, with another color scattered all over it. ^^. Other MMOs I'v played usually just have white names o.O

Not quite sure what you mean about the colors...you mean those status bars?

I have a lvl 76 archer and my build is focused around DEX, where I have most of my stat points. However, some people focus around STR and I've even seen SPR builds. I'd say definitely add (over time) +25 to SPR. This will give you +5% critical hit.

My archer has +25 STR, +25 SPR and the rest DEX.

I look for armor high in END, DEX, and STR.

Hope this helps...otherwise search the forums for posts on archers.

For the colors, yes that's a very common bug that's so common most don't even realize it's a bug. For those of you who don't really get what he means, see how the guild names look almost like they're purple AND green at the same time? Like the overlay of colors is off? If I had to guess I'd say it's something to do with whatever screen resolution you have, but unless you can change it to one that doesn't do this, just deal with it ^^.
My screen always does the same thing, I've never been able to fix it x.x
The only way I know it's not supposed to look like that is having seen screenies from other people where the colors of titles and names look perfect and not oddly multi-colored, and when you see them it's obvious that's how it's supposed to look :3


troll the forums for a bit and you'll eventually find some ;)
And for the record I think character titles are supposed to be yellow, not red, and guilds are supposed to be green ^^


And so how about what skills to empower? >.> I'm kinda curious as to what skills I should work on for my archer ^^, she's a little pvp beast :3

A kindom quest is sorta like a...how to describe it...group effort quest? you party up with people and 2 other parties to fight monsters and eventually a boss. Reward is exp and a chest full of shiny rewards usually. I find it a cooldown from questing and massive grinding although the kingdom quest at my level, people hardly ever join it. if you click the hourglass next to your mini map, there will be a list of the kingdom quests. scroll down to the very last kingdom quest and it'll show you the next time it'll be recruiting for it. when it comes to that time, click the kingdom quest and click participate to join it. You'll be warped to the map when 15 people join. sometime it can take a while to gather people

I actually found a good empower guide on fiesta wiki for all the classes :P you can find links to fan sites on the fiesta main page

Kingdom quests are special timed quests where you and other people take part to kick ***. :p Kill the boss, kill other players, try to stay alive... You often join it to complete a NPC quest, to get exp, to get the treasure chest or 'cause you got nothing better to do.

On Outspark Blog, KQ is explained as:
One of the most exciting parts of Fiesta, Kingdom Quests are exciting group battles offering as many as 15 players a chance to battle tough monsters and earn large amounts of experience.

kq is fun and the best way to get exp(if you succeed)in my opinion

For the colors:
For Vista:
Right-click on the desktop, go to Personalization -> Window Color and Appearance -> Open Classic... -> Effects and select Standard instead of ClearType.

For XP:
Right-click on the desktop, go to Properties, click the Appearance Tab, click Effects and change ClearType to Standard.

If you have Fiesta open, you'll have to close the client and reopen it before changes take effect.
