I have been noticing in the game you cant say the word "C***"(C L A .....M) but what the F*** C*** is not a bad word D*****, and if C*** is a bad word then why there is a F****ng item called like that? I honestly think the fiesta moderation and censor is a bit crazy dont you think?

OMG I found a bad meaning for CLAM at urbandictionary.com under "frigid clam". At this rate, one can hardly speak a sentence without at least 2 words having a "bad" meaning as well :eek:

It is a euphemism. Not necessarily in American English. I'm not gonna put here to what it refers, but there are various places you can point your browser to for the answer.

It's the second word I've learned a "dirty" meaning to by playing Fiesta.

I agree that Punk should not be censored (though it did provide a rather amusing scene with a now gone GL...), and clam seems a little extreme (not to mention, it is a bit more obscure slang).

Any sort of vulgar word for feces should remain censored - PG-13 movie guidelines recommend it, and that seems to be the general level Fiesta is aiming for.

Jap should remain censored because it is a derogatory word created during WWII to dehumanize the Japanese. Unless, for some reason, you're advocating all racial slangs be uncensored, in which case...at least you're fair?

People can talk about Japanese cartoons, Japanese culture, Japanese heritage, visiting Japan, Japan Airlines, Japanese clothing... It's a Korean-developed game that people frequently look at and say: "Look at the Japanese cartoon game!"

Through all of these possible topics of discussion, one might become lazy in the internet's tradition of abbreviating everything (j/k, lol!) and not wish to type Japanese culture and want to put "Jap culture". Still, I agree with the censoring of this because of the epithetic nature of the term.

It's possible. Different cultures have different views about decency and what is appropriate for younger people to hear/read. If there's a version in the UK there might not be a censor on a term they use for cigarettes but in the US is a derogatory phrase.
