I've been playing Fiesta for about 3 weeks now and I never posted in this forum.
I hope to be more active on the forums.
I play on the Apoline sever.
[GM]Steam is my twin. (Check sig)
I play about 3 hours on weekdays and like 50 hours on the weekend.
I am currently in the Cloud9 guild. They are pretty nice.

I just picked a female to pick one. I don't see why I would need a reason... I play both male and female toons.

Usually the only reason people care about this is when they're to busy trying to pick them up.

"Oh it's unnatural!" they say. "You must have issues if you play someone of the opposite sex or anything other than what you are in real life".

If a person is playing an Iksar in EverQuest, does that mean they have 'issues' because they are playing a lizard? ;)

Last time I checked games with fantasy settings were called Role Playing Games (RPG), not Real Life Playing Games (RLPG?).

I learned to accept things as they are, people are never who they claim to be most of the time on the internet and apparently many people are still 'green' to this point. If a girl plays a guy and hits on me, am I going to go 'eww gross!'. Nope, because I don't really care.

I'm comfortable with my standing in life, but apparently others are insecure enough in theirs that it bothers them. Thus their offense at those who play the opposite sex in a game.

Now that you've discovered their gender, does your life feel more complete and secure?

Anyway, hi, Sanity, and welcome to FF! Ace the local psychopath welcomes you with outstretched arms, hatchets set aside for the occasion. Great to see your interest in the Fiesta game (I'm about to recall the chat we had about Steam being lost inside your pocket, actually). As for the forum, it's been slow lately. I keep promising to pay more attention, but education keeps interfering. I did, however, get a highly important letter that assured me my last three years of hard work paid off, so sometime soon, sometime soon... In the meanwhile, you can always loiter in the freeform areas, if you're willing to deal with the occasional spike of complete randomness that seems to plague Off-Topic.

Feel free to explore the community - this place is pretty awesome, and hell, a couple good posts here and there can sure help get you noticed, if y'know what I mean.
