I would honestly contact a GM as they are the only people who truely know how long a ban is (temporary vs permanent). Given the issue I read with yours, I would think it would be temporary, but again that's ultimately the GMs discretion.

Look below the forums to "View Forum Leaders". In there will be a list of GMs/devs that can be contacted in regards to this concern of ban time.

Banned means you are gone.. gone forever..
There is no excuse.. you were given a warning.. spamming is against the rules.
and negligence of that fact does not change the ruling.
It's like if you didn't know you couldn't kill someone in real life with a chainsaw.. it makes no difference.. you still get the same punishment.
I personally hope the GM's don't change their ruling, i'd like banning to mean banning, if it's not permenant.. it's not a ban.. it's a suspension.
Maybe eventually people will start getting the point?
Ok.. i'm asking too much on that one :)
