So in a nearly unnoticed post Outspark announces that from March 30 onwards Europeans and Philipinians cant sign up for Fiesta anymore while old accounts will be allowed to stay. (see full post (http://www.outspark.com/forums/showthread.php?t=156781))
It is really hard to imagine that a major part of the worlds population will be excluded from whatever part of the net, at least in this part of civilisation. Without any further infos I would go as far as to call that a racist move, as censorship is just based on where u are living.
Are Europeans getting the finger from Outspark now?
Before i get agitated any further and start flaming outspark I wanted to ask around for the reasons. Any input by Outspark staff or informed comunity members is most welcome.

You realize this is the UNITEDSTATES VERSION NOT THE PHILLIPINO'S+EUROPE+UNITEDSTATES VERSION.

Gamigo, an European game editor has bought to OOS the rights for Fiesta.
OS is bound by contract to IP ban any new Europeans users, that will have to play in their EU Fiesta.
Same, for Philipino, that got their own Fiesta recently, iirc.

It's business. It's got zip to do with racism. We're banned from playing their versions, they're banned from playing ours. Once a company buys the right to release the game in their specific country, then that's it. The EU ban was a hotly debated issue at the time, but was resolved. We have known about the Philipines ban for quite some time now too, it is not sudden information. It's just that it is 'official'.
Please take time to become aquainted with our forum search function before flaming OS.

Hey grats on the fighter. I remember when someone was yelling at you on here for not being a higher lvl and "not knowing what you are talking about".

This is an OLD issue… well, not even really an issue.
Due to contractual negotiations between Outspark and Gamigo, all European distribution of this game will be handled by the latter company. What this means is that as of the time that contract goes live, Outspark CAN NOT and will not allow new European accounts to be created. It was a battle to even get that… at first, Outspark was going to have to KICK all European players, pre-existing or not. After an arduous negotiation they were able to keep pre-existing accounts active.
As for Philippines, I would imagine the same thing is happening there. This is not new news.
This is not open for player negotiation as it is a legal contractual matter between distribution companies.
On that note, I must now [CLOSE] this thread.
