You can sell the items to any NPC merchant in town. Right mouse click over the item after you've opened up the NPC sales box.

I forgot to mention, if you have a bulk set of items (like 50 pieces of meat) you can hold the Shift key and right mouse click to sell them all at once rather than do 50 clicks to sell them.
