What does the - ¿! - error message mean?

This issue has been confirmed by our developers to be directly linked to your graphics card drivers and an outdated version of DirectX. Please make sure that you have the most recent version of your graphics card drivers AND that you have the most recent version of DirectX.

Update your drivers. even if you have a new card, often times they ship with old drivers. Don't use the CD that came with the card, go on the manufacturer's website to get latest drivers.
