Well what i must say...another great idea from our mother house...
now 90% of clerics in this game waste 5 points in this skill, really great.
If someone dont know what's happend well i can tell you.
All know heal give always the same cure when u use it (and change when u upgrade this skill) like 1100, 1600 etc etc.
But thx this new patch we cant do this anymore, enfect now heal give different cure not from upgrade or empower, but from your hp.
Exemple:

You have 2000 hp and a monster hit you 600, now u think (this heal skill said i can heal myself 1100, no u wrong! It heal you 600! cuz u lost that hp).

Very nice isn't? Thx Outspark again go always with this great idea...

Well in all honesty if you have only taken 600 hp damage then what is the point of healing you for 1100 ?

So why i must use 51 or more sp for heal a friend when he have only 500 hp?
So why i must spend 200s for upgrade this skill when i know i never heal so hight like before?
Guys pls think before write...just we have our problem cuz we havent a decent atk skills, now they change our heal too great..

Your a noob ain't ya? You aren't healing for less now, Now its just that you get to see the exact amount you heal, i actually thought the first time they let you see how much you heal they would do this they took a long time getting there XD

You don't have to spend any silver upgrading the skill, however you will miss out on higher heals.

Outspark didn't change the heal, like Whatever said, they only changed it so that it shows what you healed the other person for. My highest heal was 2100 before the patch, and I heal for 2100 now.

What you are seeing is the HP you replaced. Say the tank has 5000 HP,he get hit for 1.1k by KKPs aoe....if I then heal him it will say 1100 instead of the 0 it used to display when you fully healed someone.

Err..make sense? I'm kind of rambling..

Nothing's changed, it's just the numbers to tell you that you are over-healing. XD I'm a heal freak, so I tend to use like my 300+ hp heal, to heal my mates who only lost like 100hp. This new system makes me sweatdrop and realize just how much I am wasting lol.

It got its good and bad. A fellow cleric told me that it made her feel less significant. XDD

Before this patch:

A heal for 2000 would always show as 2000 or 0.

After this patch:

A heal for 2000 will only show how much HP it's healing. It can be anywhere from 1 to 2000.

The heals aren't messed up, just appear a little differently. Relax.

please think before quoting a reply, and please think HARDER before telling someone that their wrong. or youll just make yourself look more like a noob.
Miazma is right. if your hp only lacks 600hp, healing you by 1100hp wont make any difference.and no, they didnt change or decrease our ability to heal, it just shows how much our heals had to replace to give 100% hp.

You can equip any of your previously learned Heal spells. I know clerics who have a hot bar of each level of Heal. The only time I've done that was just before hitting the 89 cap on my cleric. My duo partner got hit for so little, I just put him on follow and spammed Heal[01]. It was about the same HP recovery as Restore[11]. XD

If you're casting a Heal[10] for 1100 HP (unempowered) when your friend only has 500 HP, why not just switch up your bar and use Heal[05], saving Heal[10] for cases when you need to heal someone for 1100 HP?

lol, that tank has good mdef, I get hit for 3k by that aoe xD


and on topic, I prefer the change. Caught me off guard when I saw 500 the first time i used it since the patch, had to make sure i was still using the proper tier heal xD

1)Im not a noob, im a paladin livel 60 and this is the first game i saw where heal is changed,in the others mmorpg like Ragnarok, the heal is very hight and no one (mother's house too) try to change it.
2)I like very much make great damage and heal, but now i cant anymore and so we heal like newbe happy? :P
3)They need to "fix" bleed and trip (this 2 skills must give stun if i remember), but not they change good skill like heal and reju.

they have a giant list of skills that they took out thier abilities for. (except fighters they get to keep all their skills), i think this heal thing is nice, so far i havent seen a bug related to it. (life set is a different bug and has nothing to do with healing), what i dont like is the fact that everyone sees the heal now, not just the cleric and the player being healed.

Seph there has been NO change to our heal and rejuvenate skills.

If you think about it this is a SP saver for us clerics, no more guessing when each party member needs to be healed.

Heal them,
Note roughly where the HP bar is at and how much the heal healed them for.
You soon get an idea of how low a party members HP bar can go before they need to be healed.

No more OVER healing party members.
No more WASTING SP stones.

Before this number change you still used the same amount of SP to heal them if they needed a 600 HP top up or a 2K top up. A person cant be OVER healed more than the amount of HP they have, so what value was there in showing a 2.7K heal when the player only needed 600 HP to have them back at max HP.

Well said, Miazma. That's where I think it is useful too, in giving us a better gauge. Now, when I heal, when I see like <100 hp healed, I will do a mental oops lol. I really dislike overhealing, which is why I have three levels of heals on my hotbar.

So Seph, we DON'T heal like newbies. We just LOOK like we are healing less, because there is seriously nothing to heal lol.

Heal amount shown is based on the number of missing hp, so if we heal less than our max heal amount, then our sp consumed is still the same or less?

There is no change to the SP consumption. Every time you cast, for example, Heal[07], it will cost you 88 SP, unless you have empowered SP Consumption, then it will be 71, 66, 62, 55 or 44 SP, depending on how many times you've empowered it.

you dont need use the lvl of heal... if dont want spend sp use minor lvls...
the heal recover the same hp as ever.
