Which monster should I attack next?

I'm level 14 and half way to level 15. Every monster I kill only gives me about 3 XP. >.> And when I try to fight a tougher monster for more XP of course I die. lol 0.o

Anyways, where should I go and what should I attack next? Thanks.

whats ur build first of all?
and if ur just killing Mobs i suggest have a Party with a cleric...
or else u could go KQ

Well first what might help us all is what are you killing now...what is it your killing that you end up getting killed by...and lastly, are you fighting monsters one at a time or do you just generally run straight into a mob of them and die a quick painful deat :p I know it sounds silly to ask, but I see a lot of people who seem to run all over the map for some reason (maybe they have a hard time with the navigation) and accumulate monsters like crazy. If you can try to remember these tips...only try to get a single monster at a time, if you have to wait a bit for them to follow you and run away from the rest so you can kill him without the others attacking you...Try and use your special attacks (if your a mage or archer that is) in order from the one that takes the most time to the least time, especially if you can use the longest 'first' because if you pull aggro and get the monster to come after you with a short special then let him hit you while you wait for your long special to finish you will get hit more often then the other way around....Finally the big one...'Be prepared!' it works for boyscouts and it can work for you too :p When you go out to hunt make sure you save those potions and stones for emergencies...when five mobs are on you and you have to run like crazy, or when you just need that extra boost to save your skin. Bring scrolls for buffs on hard quest monsters and better yet, bring a cleric to tag along..this game is designed for using parties, and while soloing is great, parties can be great too (with the right kind of people) Anyway, i hope that helps:)

if you can't kill Phino and Mini Greenky at this age something is seriously wrong with your character

You are either not wearing armor, using lvl 1 weapon instead of lvl 8, not using any skills at all, don't have your points used.... geez...

Or you are really a mage, and just confused about what class. That staff is not a club. You are not a barbarian.

FYI: you need to fight in forrest of mist at your age, stay there till 17+

At 14 you should be doing KQ to get a good weapon. A +6 lvl 15 weapon will do more damage than a base lvl 20 weapon. I've gotten 4-5 +6 weapons from slime KQ., and some +2 to +5.

For me (even though i'm not a fighter) I got 14 to 15 by Kingdom Quests and also exp grinding on Mini Greenky and Phino mosnters. I would go in a KQ before lvl 15 if i have a +3 weapon or higher, makes mosnter killing easier.

i'll lvl by KQ... good stuff (although the occasional blank chest) so, till 16, do KQ. if u wan train till 15 with A LOT of exp, then enter KQ, where you level in there... Dont do your quests till 16 UNLESS you want the stuff (like equips). the exp gained will lvl you from 16 to 17 in no time=P then at 17, do KQ. (dont care those ****ers who call you noob. fighters can hold their own. just leech and hide... 17 to 20 all the way. then 20 job advance. happy?

Sorry I haven't been replying. I'm a fighter first of all. I wear mostly leather armor. I do have chain boots. I have a broad sword I think it's called. I upgraded it all the way, same with my shield. I have 50+ potions. I can be able to defeat Phino and Mini Greenky. I died when I almost got to the gate of Elderine (Sp?). Yes, I'm a noob, so you can bash me all you want. I'm new to the game still.

When going to elderine don't go through the middle, go along the western edge of the middle islands. Boars and ratman don't aggro you. So kill them. The stuff in the next island north is all aggro and will tear you up. Which is why you stick to your left when going north.

Upgrading stuff before lvl 20 is a waste of money if you are poor like most people. Unless you have tons of cash, you better save for when you hit 20. It gets expensive. + on a weapon only really gets good if you are 4+, however +3 on all your armor is really nice to have
You can still forgoe it though.

Up through 16 I say do KQ, at least until you get a good weapon +5/+6. I'd solo 17-20 so you get some cash reserves. Also, don't buy a lvl 20 weapon, you will get one when you do your lvl 20 quests....man I wasted so much money on that...then it broke trying to enhance it to +1. I think lvl 20 sword is 4.5s?

Sailors and Elites are agressive though, only one ratman is agressive in the forest. Plus, Speedy Boogies and Boogies to worry about.
