Mining Error??

So I'm trying out mining and as you can see from the pic, I've successfully mined 9 low quality copper ore and 1 regular copper ore. However you may also notice I still have teh copper ore composition and decomposition scrolls at the top of my inventory. As the pic shows on the bottom left, "Selected production skill cannot be learned". I've obviously already learned mining (gathering skill). Why is this?

And of course I figured it out about 2 minutes after I posted.

Answer:
I never chose my 2 production skill sets. After I did that, I was able to use the scrolls to learn my skills.
