Yes, me and several others have seen him out in Ancient Elven Woods farming the HQ sap for cash a few times in the past.

A_Banana got stuck somehow and eventually disappeared from the game. I tried messing around with the others but no such luck. I couldn't even lead them towards the harder monsters but they have some kind of gudance system installed that makes them turn back after travelling a certain distance.

I did manage to pick up some nice drops though.
