Outspark now lying to keep a playerbase.

As you know I am the leader of TOS (Tosgaming.com) and we have been in this through the long run.

Today i was sad to hear of recent news of a update long since needed that was delayed once again, even after being quoted by popular GM's Rider that it was coming out this month. Question in hand is.. Was there an update of this sort to be made in the first place.

Rider had confirmed that the "2nd Job Classes" and "New Map Balderan" would be released. As you can see the money grabbers just released some crappy cash shop items thinking it would compensate for our dissappointment.

Don't think of there excuses like "Sorry coming soon" and a valid excuse to keep playing. Outspark is continuing to leave a bad trail of faith and reputation for there Windslayer fanbase. If you are going to delay a patch then plan this days before not one minute before patch release. "Sorry" is only valid if they give valid explainations as to why it was delayed or being delayed and giving that warning before release.

"Sorry" outspark theres no excuse for this.

A GM can go ahead and delete or lock this, but i will be posting it on other websites (ONrpg.com, MMORPG.com, and Tosgaming.com). Attempts to silence players for acting in reponse to the developers only further push the closer answer that all i have said is the truth.

GM or Community Leaders feel free to elaberate.

Edit: You know, It's been awhile since I've done any post worth anything so here it goes.

It seems OS Itself has been having more and more "business" issues (which to me sounds like someones not doing the paper work right) also, It could be something on OOS's end, If they arnt sending what they should to OS when they said they were going to, OS can't help but fall short.

Look at propow, still no "real" updates as far as I'm concerned and, who could forget the infamous delay on Blackshot?

Lastly, think of Feista, they get tons of updates and have more problems with them then I care to count, I'd rather mill around in pvp then rush out to bugged job change quests, lets give them a LITTLE more time. ^-^

Blood why don't you tell us about outspark, i'm curious to know what kind of defense ull make by doing so. It's not a matter of knowing what they did in the past its the reputation there giving them selves now.

If outspak told us why they didnt add old content(maps and 2nd class) it might help... but no they dont care about the players.

BTW ive played SOS, Fiesta, and windslayer and spent plenty of hard earned money and its always money first for outspark.

Yeah, I can't understand why they can't just tell us why they aren't releasing the old content or why the date was delayed for the patch that was supposed to happen yesterday. But no, all we get is a "Sorry, the release was delayed, it will come soon." Why? When exactly? Just give us some info and we would be a lot happier. I'm just getting sick of all this bull about keeping us in the dark.

rider explained in game that the patch MAY be coming out on that night (The 18th). He never said he was 100% sure that the patch would be out at that time. I asked why it might be delayed and he told me that they're still getting some final bugs out of it but he thinks they could finish it before it's supposed to be released.

Now, obviously, those bugs did not get fixed in time so they had to delay it. Since they never made an official announcement about the 2nd class OR Balderan Mining Area coming out, there was no need to explain why they didn't come out in this last patch.

They aren't "money grabbers" as you put it. For all you know, the Spark Cash update was planned to be added along with the 2nd class but since that didn't come out as planned, they needed to give us something, no matter how small. Since the SC update was already ready they put that up.

All in all, I think you're massively over-reacting. 1) It's just a game. Not your life. There are worse things that could have happened. 2) Again, there was no official announcement on the subject. 3) Why post it on other web sites? This is just slandering OutSpark and making their problems worse. Here's a little equation for you.

OutSpark + Slander = Less Player base = Less Funding = Less Updates

Please be mature about this and go on with your life. I'm sure that any seasoned player can see that you're basicly blinded with anger, causeing you to make irrational decisions.

You should do some research and dig up old threads from other Outspark games, you'll get what I'm talking about. Past, present or future it's the same name from the same company, you can't expect much from them.

If Outspark were to release the client as it was when it had all the old content, then half the community would be in chaos because half the community is begging for new improved features. Outspark can't go back now because the client has probably been manipulated a bunch of times and they can't release it due to licensing issues with VerticoGames.

Money first for Outspark? Well, they need the money to run the game servers and manage finance so they do need a lot of money. Then again, they can't benefit off anything unless they sell items that WE want. So from a good perspective, they see what we would be interested in, they sell it for money (SparkCash), the rest is just business and planning.

Look, GM's are not in charge of when things are released. Higher Outspark staff and others, such as the staff that owns the rights to Wind Slayer get to choose when things are released. GM's are just the bearer's of good and bad news. If someone above them changes the date then they have to inform everyone whether they are hated or not. It isn't their fault.

If you have a problem with a specific GM then I suggest you take it up with them in a PM. Otherwise, it the GM's fault.

As for "lying" to players...how do you know something didn't get set back? What if things couldn't go according to plan for the release dates? Reguardless, don't sit and complain about not getting an update. It's just a game. Things will be released but you just have to wait, its how all MMO's are, especially free ones. It would be different if you actually had to pay for something and not get it rather than just playing for free. You don't get to decide when things are released, its not your job.

If your unhappy with the way things are going for Wind Slayer, here is something you can do about it: Just quit. Why waste your time with threads like this that happen everyday? If you don't like the way thigns are run just quit, simple as that.
