Is using Academy Warp to get to low lvl dungeon is exploiting a glitch? here the answ

Hi, my ign is DemonEyeKyo and also DekSpecialEdit,..

i know u are already aware probly of the bug that allow academy leader to get in low lvl dungeon and kingdom quest. Well my opinion on that bug is its really serious and need to be taken cared of asap... ive been killing zk with my lvl 37 .. and i keep getting ksed by lvl 80 that use the glitch to get there... and also some of there high lvl player use 2 computer... so they warp using theyre own low lvl... dmg the zk with theyre lvl 80 and deliver last blow with theyre lvl 30 to exploit the glitch to get blue rare equip... well it **** me off... i worked hard on my low lvl char so he could kill the zk boss.... but now with the glitch and high lvl there.. cant do anything OO... well i understand u have probly other concern about other game than fiesta or idk... but i hope u can fix this problem asap.. as its growing worse n worse as more people get aware of it.. well yeah in fact the question is... will it be resolved by next maintenance?

KQs doesn't work :P Neither do Abysses anymore, only the dungeons still work.

(hence why I thought it was intended. I figured that if they'd prevented you from warping into Abysses, they'd prevent you from going into dungeons too if they wanted to)

Well when they fixed it earlier- they kept you from warping to the lowbie abysses, if it was a glitch, they would've prevented you from warping to the Dungeons to c:

NICE ONE DEK, I have made the same PM to the CRS cause of a 7x mage and 8x fighter in the GGK a few days ago. Luckily I take SS everytime I see a high level in the dungeon that should not be. I have about +10 players that I have taken SS of. So if you see me in the dungeon and you know your not suppose to be in there, HaHa I just SS you and reporting you on the spot.

When someone submitted a help ticket about the perm dragons having a different speed than the 30/60 day ones, he responded that the glitch was noted and the speed of those would be reduced soon...

yeah, he thought the duration mounts were the ones with the bugged speed, not the perm ones ~_~

It cant be a glitch. They took both the dungeon warp and abyss warp out. They then put the dungeon warp back to help academy.
Abyss was abusive- the dungeon is just helping fellow members out. Not all of us can have time to lv someone for every dungeon to help out.

There is no reason an 8x or 7x should be in the 4x dungeon, to help academy members or not. GGK is such a ridculously easy boss! Besides, arent academy members supposed to graduate at lvl 40? Yus! So, no the excuse of going in their to help academy, it just doesn't fly. Really, people need to learn how to party like the game was intended for us to do. And don't say you can't find another person to duo GGK with since Bijou server is always on High.

over past 2 week i was farning in zk and lot of people were exploiting academy glitch.. well ea time i saw one i ssed it.. ill let the ss talk for themselve,but it all happened beetween march 1 and march 13 .. of course i report all in same bunch else i probly wouldnt have time to play much.. lol... the reason there so much ss is probly that i play average 14h + a day everyday.. so well guess i see more people breakin tos than the average 4h of play a day player.. maybe admin should advertise not to ks and well .. im sure u guys will fix all of that eventually, tx for ur answer and support

Like I said before, not all of us have enought time on our hands to lv a char for every dungeon to help our members. Not everyone farms blues. Most of us have better things to do then spend all day in search of the godly drop. We go in to help and leave, because personally i find it very borring.

You can call it "unbalance" or "unfairness" in the game or whatever you feel like calling it.

High levels have better stuff to do than camping in dungeons for stuff that don't matter to them.

This issue is relatively same as "Fix trip/bleed for clerics".

Trip/bleed was given to clerics and "suppose" to have a debuff side to it.

Many think that the skill is bug but the developer think otherwise. It is sort of like an "injustice" or "unfair" to clerics (if put to same way you think academy warp is a glitch). It is not a glitch anymore since it had been so long and nothing is done to "fix" it. Clerics knows this is what the game had turn out to be for them and they have to accept it whether or not they like it or not. Accept it dude.

Academy master warps to dungeon to help members. Be it they are doing it for selfish gains or truely wants to help their members, it is up to the individuals involve to decide.

From what i see, this is just a rant on "oh, how unfair it is to ME" or "I am captain justice and i want to serve justice to all injustices" kind of thread. If it is part of the game, it is here to stay. Previously, a patch had been done for the Warp skill for academy masters. They can't warp to abyss now. If the developers wants to so call "fix" your opinion of a "glitch" for warps to dungeons, they would have done so in the previous patch to fix the warp to abyss.

There are many examples to quote from the game (class inbalance, Sparkcash PVP users, gifting system abuse, abyss player killers...etc) in related to your rant but let's keep it short here. The above issues are not easily judge by anyone (not even me) and developers are trying to make it better so that no one will complains but imperfect is what makes the world thinks and improve.

It should be proof enough that if OS wanted high lvls to go in, then they would have removed the MAX REQUIRED LEVELS to go into the dungeons. Them finding a way around it is called ABUSING A GLITCH. back when lvl cap was 59 even 79 awhile i think there was no abyss and only little place to grind... so all the person wanted to farm at stonie... lotsa people were claiming spot and lotsa war declared because of that... so one day [GM]Dakkon had to personally come talk to lotsa us ank & NM and he told us about we couldnt claim spot and ks, he told us that the area belong to all and so the game... if ur with ur party using a small area and someone barge in with a horsey and gather everything, he have all the right to do so... its not ur mob,.. its not ur area.. its everybody game and u cant ks ... thats what i remember about the stonie but i guess its unrelated to this issue

Wow, sorry to say, i agree with demoneyeskyo. If people KS you, you have high LVLed chars right? be academy master and master/admin of a guild on ur highest LVL in a warring guild, war the person and kill them, simple :) Since they want to KS and get blues in a cheap way, just hunt them down and destroy them. OK, first off, the ability to warp into a lower-level dungeon via the academy warp is certainly, undeniably, a bug.

I do not know how to make that any more clear, nor can I see a way to argue the point, any more than I could argue that grass is green.

The idea that CSR Hal does not know what is going on in-game is insipid, and indeed if he did not know then he would say that he did not know, rather than tell DEK to report people. I have received contact from OutSpark where the CSR did not know the answer to my question, and each time they replied honestly, not calling on me to report people.

For those that say it was added, then removed then added again, so it must be the intention of OutSpark, if that is so then why did they, for however brief a time, remove it? What is likely is that the initial bug-fix restricting the use of the academy warp system was accidentally overwritten at a later date.

Really, this thread has become an attack on Kyo, not a discussion of any kind. The intent is clearly not to argue a point, but to defend an indefensible position by attacking DEK's credibility, and the credibility of the CSRs, for no other goal then to retain some self-delusional shred of dignity after you have already disposed of it by exploiting this bug, and flaming someone who tried to correct you.

No offense hoochi.. but.. if you don't have the will to work hard to make a new char , buy the equips, etc. then you don't really deserve to farm it like how DEK does.

As for kimukai: "Academy Masters warping into lower leveled dungeons = still questionable." It's not questionable anymore, considering what DEK showed us what the CSR said.

if it is a bug, it will be fix. If it is not a bug, CSR will try their best to cater to your complains and pacify you. If this is a bug, would it not be the same as disabling/remove codes to warp to abyss? It can be done or fix if it is a bug but if it is not, no point arguing over if it is a bug or not. Theoratically same as Bleed/Trip for clerics. it is not a bug. it is what the developers wants it to be.

If it were a glitch dont you think it would've been changed by now? I've seen numerous threads reporting it as a "glitch" (many of which CL's have posted on- one of which a CL closed for blacklisting)...So from this information one can be sure outspark indeed knows about this "problem"...

Ks-ing however is NOT alowed and yes you can report for thatbut in that case the area or the lvl dont matter.

I have been in zk cave as academy master and I have been helped in there by my academy master who alos happens to be my apprenticemaster.. all the ksing in there that i saw was NOT by the high lvl ones that suposedly dont belong there, but by ppl like you who can just walk in there any time.

Scenario 1 (Thinking out of the box)
"DEK is really hard up on the blues and he really need an empty dungeon for himself to farm the blues. Did i mention he is a trader who sells +9 for a living? Why would someone so hard up for blues? Hmm...Ah ha! The rich wants to be richer!"

I will not hide the fact that i do go dungeons upon requests by academy members who need to kill ZK, MK and GGK. A party is formed and make sure everyone understands "split drops by class". Then, we proceed to find the boss and let the academy members do the last hit. Any drops will be split according to the class (excluding me), be it ring/weapons/armor. That's what i do when i am in dungeons for my members. Not that hardup for blues even though i am not a trader in the game and barely made enough for restones/pots/equips...

Just want to point this out that not all Academy Masters who post against your opinions are "doing the forbidden thingy" (aka glitch (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glitch)). It is the way you are putting every academy masters who step foot into dungeons are doing the thingy (aka bug (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_bug)) that make me felt like you are gathering empathy for yourself and putting down Academy Masters who use the warp function to help their academy members.

Loosely translated is "Don't use a bamboo pole to knock off everyone on the boat"

This is how i interpret it in my own illustration:
Long ago in China (maybe Qing Dynasty), there is a criminal on a small boat (propelled by poles, oars) that is about to sail out to sea. A Qing Dynasty Constable want to capture the criminal but he can't recognize him. He is hardup to close this case and by seeing that the passegers on the boat are not decent looking (meaning they have the look of a crook), he decided to use a bamboo pole to knock everyone into the water and let them drown, thus, closed the case by stating that the criminal drowned.

There are better ways to deal with it but he did not do that. To him, whoever is on the boat, there is one of them he must capture and since all got this look of a crook, he decide to get them in one swop. Killing 2 birds with one stone.

Be a good boy DEK. Don't bring every academy masters down just because they set foot in dungeons and step on your royal toes. Wear a pair of iron-clad boots for a change if you are in dungeons. It is a latest fashion for people like you. :cool:

I am doing the excact same thing you are. farming blues. so I can get my blue cleric set together. not to sell them for insane high prices. The ones i dont use i either give away in the academy or sell for low prices.

I personally have used Typewritten in 3x and 4x dungeon to powerlevel academy members, my own alts, and farm lower level bosses and give the greens to academy members or my alt.


I see no problem with this. Why?

Because it's not abyss. You won't have a level 87 killing everyone in abyss just to powerlevel a few people. The dungeons are very large as well, It's not like one 8x would kill the entire map and leave nothing for anyone else. I still let people take the ZKs or GGKs if they want to do it themselves, however, most of the time they have absolutely NO PROBLEM with me clearing away the mobs to the boss (I wonder why, because they're not in there for exp like 7x are in TR?)



Yes, it's exploiting a 'bug'. But then again, there are a lot of bugs that we are FORCED to endure (Such as our favorite error message, fiesta.bin), so why not add on a positive bug to the mix?

I see no logical reason this bug could be called negative because all it's doing is helping lower levels, who will likely buy SC over time. The more higher levels you have, the more money OS makes... no problem for them there.

I'd make more arguements, but alas i need to go do some errands for my family. Toodles.

to me is like you guys are the one causeing the problems here and on a side note.. with your lvl 4x char there your drop rate is going to be extremely low if you get any at all

the best rate is in the early lvls btw so u wont get much drops at ur 4x lvl in that dungeon... I do on my lvl 34.... and thats bugging you?


Im looking for a blue cleric set thats why I am grinding the zk.
Im a low lvl cleric and thats why my academy master AND my apprentice master is helping me. Theres no way i can do that alone on my cleric.

And again I have all the right to be in that dungeon on lvl 34. Your friend however does not have the right to train me and KS me there. does he?


Hasn't outspark said training/ksing is against the terms of service...That is harrassement...

Until we get an official announcement from Outspark saying that this is indeed a "bug" The only one wrong in the story is your friend...and now Sharida has the right to send in screenshots of him and get him banned- doesn't she :)?

What i believe is the real reason dungeon warp is still here:

Okay, this May be a glitch by in fact it is in Korean fiesta to warp in dungeons (yes i have played it but that was 2 months ago at minimum) They allowed the dungeon warping to allow higher levels to help out there academy in leveling and questing. Which is why they implemented it. Most of the things outspark does is based off the korean version in what the implement but some things are not. They are allowed to put the dungeons warping in our not they have no contract (i am not sure) saying so. So what i am getting at is if the glitch was not attended to be there why has it lasted threw like 7+ patchs???? I mean if outspark is taking this long to figure out it is really a glitch than something must be up on what they do instead of fixing the game. (not intended to mean that outspark doesnt do a good job)

The fact that you want to farm mobs (not intended to flame) and want out high levels to stop farming because you need all the mobs you can get. You got time to level up but others don't. Why should people be ban for helping out guild members or friends? Yes in fact i do help others because i am nice and love to help others ask paradise,aristocrats and other guilds i have been in how Ive helped level them threw dungeon because else where they get little experience or i die >.> I mean what harm is it for you to see a higher level in the dungeon if they are not harming you than why complain. Yes i do admit ive used the glitch because you have seen me before helping guild members level and kill a few bossed (got to make some money for stone eh XD). Over all i only messed with you once but than left and never bothered you again and i am sorry for what i did before.

In fact, Demon you blacklisting people before they will not get ban or even slightly temp ban because outspark has not told us or anyone else that this is a glitch and should not be exploited. With out hard proof nothing can happen mate sorry to let you down.

yes i have screenshots of the ksing and the training as well.. aswell from someother ppl who like to train and ks in Burning hill map o.o doesnt that ring a bell DEK? talking about high lvls ksing.. just in this case it was cus of a lisence...

Players who are supposed to be in the dungeon level-wise have the capacity to complete their quests there, provided they actually learn to party and co-operate. By "helping" them, you're simply exacerbating the problem of high level players who have no clue how to co-operate with each other, or how to use their skills effectively. I wonder what the percentage of 7x/8x players there are that don't even know where Shutian is!

Such "help" undoubtedly contributes to the prevalent rapid decline in average player skill level.

Can I ask why this was not brought out in public before instead of providing those rules only to a small ammount of ppl ? (not sure how many ppl have been informed about this)

It would of saved all of us a lot of trouble and arguing here. I hope next time when such a thing happens we will be informed on whats alowed and whats not if its NOT clear.

Well, now you have your answer. However, considering the opening post was a letter from Hal I'm not entirely sure why there was so much arguing anyways.

An announcement is a great suggestion, and I'm sure they'll look into putting one in. However, now that you know its best to spread the word as well.
