okay i had something weird happen to me in field of mists
a pinofly got me and i died. my hitpoint bar still read 13 hp. no warp back to town box appeared. i lay there for 6 minutes hoping that some nice cleric would res me but nobody showed. as a last resort i logged out totally.
on reloading i was back in Roumen as expected but not being able to die and just being stuck lying on the ground was annoying.
