If someone killed Helga and got a weapon that has the same stats as a BKL, which is dropped by regular mobs, then no one would really want to kill Helga at all. It would defeat the purpose of wasting time to kill a super hard boss just for an item that will be just as strong as the item that was dropped by a mob. Isn't that why we all kill dungeon bosses? Because their base stats are better than regular greens or npc? And I understand that a dugeon boss wep only has like 50-70 more dmg or so compared to an NPC weapon, and its not like a 2k damage difference like BKL and Helgait axes. But the difficulty of Helga compared to other Dungeon bosses is what? Like 40-50 levels difference (even for Dungeon GM).

I would be fine with the nerfing if it occurs to all weapons and not just one or the other.

The damage increases by pretty much 1k (in terms of the axe) for each weapon up.

BK axe dmg (lvl 85): 1884~2609
BKT axe dmg (lvl 90): 2219~3073
BKTL axe dmg (lvl 95): 3014~4173

It is overall pretty consistent in its damage increase, increasing roughly by 600~1k in damage. If they were to nerf the BKT and BKTL too, then they would be almost as weak as a regular BK axe, which isn't really useful if it is going to be a level 9x weapon and having a lvl 8x damage. Only real solution is to nerf all the weapons for each class and level. But I highly doubt that will happen.

Who knows, maybe the 9x armor will have much higher base def and give much more +def when enhanced to +9 to balance out the high damage on the weapons. We wont know til the items actually come out, and pvp is tested.

The only serious nerf that should be done, is on the Helgait shield. The defense and mg. def on that thing is INSANELY high. I forget how much def it has, but the mg. def is like 980 or something around there, can you imagine a mage fighting a cleric/fighter with a 980 mg def boost?

He's not gonna delete his account but by selling it, he knows if he tries to come back, there'll only be money there and no armor and as most players are. He'd be to lazy or wouldn't have the will to search for new armory.

First of all IG our newest GM said after answering a question about helga weapons "The weapon's damage will not be changed. It is a boss weapon so it has alot of damage."

Also, you are right....If a lvl 91 got that axe ANY 8x might be 2~5 hit K.O w/without stoning. Maybe some 8x mage get 1 hit K.O so we all know who will win pvp kqs..... that axe is like invincible hammer except it cant always 1 hit people but its close to it ^^

Not that hard just make sure you are there before them after the emergency maintenance tonight and the spawn time will be reset to favour your group and not theirs (Providing you manage to kill it then you will know its exact respawn time)

It doesn't have to be a guild thing, but its ALOT better if it is. That way, there won't be any bickering over the drops. I don't find it very fair when I spent 5 cash pots and charms tanking helga and then some mage or archer standing in the distant who didn't have to spend any cs gets the kill and the drops. We all know, they won't give that drop up to those who had to do most of the work. By all means, if you can kill Helga then feel free to, we've pretty much gotten all the weapons we need, just missing 2 more before we are satisfied.

Also, I'd have to say that it seriously does not cost that much cs to kill Helga. We only spent alot on the first day as we tried many stratigies and ran a bunch of trial and error methods til we found the right one. Now, it only cost us charms and 1-2 cash pots.
