I've been talking with a some rogues during the game and I, I won't talk for them, don't like the way rogue hats cahnge the look of my avatar.
I, like many rogues, remove my hat in town to show that my avatar is alittle bit different then all the others. Some rogues don't even wear their hats in the fields, losing a few points in armor. With only a few choices to make about hair when making a character, i felt really sad when i put on my rogue hat and i looked even more like everyone else. It changes my avatar's hair style from long blue pony tail to short cut blond.
As a Xen class, the hats I was given over laid my avatar's hair, and I believe that for the magic classes, the hats do the same. is there a chance something like a toggle could be scripted into the rogue equipment or the rogue class itself where you can turn on or off the hat but still have it equiped for the armor bonus?
I do understand that the lucky balls serve this purpose, but the in all reality, they just make my character look cool for a week and I'm back to normal rogue gear.
I believe fighters may have the same problem, but I havn't spoken to one about this.
Thank you for listening, I feel I have expressed my views and solution well enough. I can try and clearify anything if needed.
