I think something really needs to be done with Elderine. theres just so much going on in one little place. such as: wars, shops, idle players, active players, players coming from Forest of Mist, Sea of Greed, Moonlight Tomb, Collapsed Prison and not to mention people scrolling into town. we got people returning from KQ. players that have died. Roumen isn't so bad, now they have a restricted area for house shops only. not so many wars going on there, you dont have a ton of people coming from wherever. Uruga can fit in with this too i suppose. its not as bad yet. Elderine is the most visited area of the game, the most lagged and crowded place ever. and the population for the game is outstandingly high as well. theres something they should do about it. make it bigger or create areas for shops and what not. i hope i'm not alone when i say Elderine is a horrible place sometimes. and is mean to my computer xD.

Well, unless they stretch the map out and make it bigger, therefore distancing things apart, nothing's going to happen. Last change made to Elderine that I recall was moving Storage NPC Kyle so he was more accessible.

ehh its not that bad in my oppinion~i once had a bad computer though so i can see where your coming form. The only suggestion is, hold all events in OX feild, thats what its there for...one day i scroll to elderine and theres about 7 kkps there and i die and lose my buffs and freeze about 3 secs later forcing me to elave computer, try again 20 mins later,events still on and freezes again. it takes nearly 40 mins before i can get back on and move freely.
ne ways i'm glad that theres the Z shift thing to remove other players but the problem is that wen doing so a yellow shiny thing appears around the players whyll they dissapear causing lag>wait a minute i was trying to get away from lagg>.<

I hate Elderine. So much.

But I put up with it for now. The developers weren't thinking clearly when they decided on a vendor system that requires players to stay online. I can tell from right after maintenance that no mushrooms = little to no lag whatsoever.

So until that's changed or fixed, (left)shift+z is your friend.

But they need to do something about Uruga. 50~100 mushies near storage every night is ridiculous. It does cause some lag, even if it's not as bad as in Eldy.

And there's no shift+z to fix that.

Just for old times sake I wish the GMs would spawn alot of high leveled bosses in Elderine that's what they used to do to remove the lag.

I forget which GM did it but I remember them making an announcement that they were going to spawn high leveled bosses like MD, KKP and GM.

It was hilariously funny at the same time because I got caught in this once while I was vendoring I came back the next morning to find out I was at the spawn point along with some other people I saw vendoring before I left.

What I wouldn't give to see 50 Gordon Masters killing vendors and afk people in Elderine one last time.

I wish they'd do that in Roumen, I'd go there more often if they did. I hate having to run all the way out to that little island or whatever it is and I don't want to waste my scrolls so that I don't have to walk it which is why I usually just go to Elderine and deal with the lag...and with sometimes having to play "Where's Waldo?" with Kyle. >.>

Anyways, Elderine...it always seemed weird to me that you have all this space, right? Like all the "houses" and such behind the NPCs...and there's nothing back there. Everyone is concentrated pretty much exactly right in the center of town so you have all of this outlying area that no one usually goes into for anything.

May just be me But i tend to lagg more in Uruga.
It seems like everybody is packed together in there like the subways in japan.

Elderine doesnt seem as bad because its more spread out.

I know some1 mentioned an auction house earlier.
If that was implemented then the lag would be significantly reduced due to 25%/50% the people in Elderine/Roumen being AFK shops.

Also I say relocate storage NPC kyle so that hes easier to acces.

I think they should put an auction house for real it would increase lvling for all classes by alot and money flow would come faster. Imagine going of to lvl then finding out u just made two gold cha ching $_$ if only if only.......... Oh yea and like Mike less lag and dc's way less.

Yeah the lag in Elderine is pretty bad due to the number of shrooms around, and now with little to no events in elderine nowadays maybe they can just force all the players to vend in that big long stretch of space at B9. Uruga is pretty packed but its such a small area there is no wide open area to vend without tons of lag not to mention the players dragging mobs up the stairs to kill vendors or a spambot.

So I say Auction House ftw!! Hope lag problems like this dont happen in Bera when its accessable.

It was SSSOOOO funny to see ALL those people topple over but then i thought to myself...
A couple hundred people are gonna be POed when they wake up

Of course there were the few higher lvl shops that survived the jump but I have never sseen so many people Die at once.

Lol that used to happen all the time in Epith too. The last event there was like 5-10 of each boss from kqs raging around in Eldy just killin everything in sight.
