PC: (P)layer (C)haracter: Any character that is actively controlled by a human player.
NPC: (N)on (P)layer (C)haracter: Any character that is not actively played by a human player. They are usually part of quests or sell things. They can be found throughout Isya and are an intregal part of the team. In Roumen, Item Merchant Pey is an example. Skill Master Ruby, another.
