skill empowerment

how do i use skill empowerment? i am a level 11 cleric and i have 5 points in skill empowerment and have tried to ues them but don't how.am 2 weeks new please take me through the steps.thanks in advance.

In your skills, you need to click skill empowerment, then a box will pop up. in that box, you need to pull the skill you want to empower into the top area, then click the up or down arrow on whatever you want to do to it (ie: decrease cool time) once you do that, click to empower, then close the boxes. Your skill should be empowered after that. Hope that helps a little

I have a small question of my own involving the same topic. (I don't want to create a new topic and perhaps this will also benefit voltrek aswell...)

When you (I'll use a mage as an example) empower a level 1 Firebolt, does that mean ONLY the level 1 Firebolt will be empowered? Or will levels 1 though X be empowered aswell? I havent used any of my skill points in fear that I would mess up my character by empowering the wrong leveled skill.
