I voted no. I run a girl character, mostly for reason two on Kimmi's list. I don't know if perv is the right word more like a need to not follow a guy around for hours. But think what you want, if people party and talk to me cause I have a girl avatar they should be willing to accept when a girl is not at a keyboard. Shouldn't make friends just based on gender.
But if I find out it makes my friends unconfortable I'm not above chaging to a male... I just don't get the cute long pony tail. ^_^

You can't generalize about guys with girl chars. I met a 'girl' in game who was actually a guy playing the girl. He said his friend made the char as a joke, and he just didn't feel like changing it. I don't think all guys are out to get something, whether it be money or a free show as stated above in the pink text. Some of the guy/girls are really nice. don't pass judgement before you get to know a few of them. ;D

Answering no means that you do not think that choosing a fem char as a male, automatically makes you gay. Answering maybe, would mean that, "the person could possibly be gay i don't know."

Thus leaving the other answer which is saying if you choose a fem char as a guy you are a homo...

If you choose this answer, you might as well go sign up with your local racists,political party campaigns, or something of that manner.

1. using them as an advantage to get money, like talon's friend.
2. for more 3D games, guys like to stare at the pixel'd girl's butt while they walk/run.
3. they're making it for fun, entertainment or for a female friend/sibling/relative.
conclusion: guys who makes girl charas are all pervs ;x

I've picked a Female 'Sprite' (thats what they are called noobs, not character(s)) on almost all my MMORPG's. Do I act like a female on them? No way. I couldn't if I tried my hardest.
And besides I always pick boyish names for them.

Like my own name or one that I know will make people know I'm a guy.

In Nostale I bought a "Self Introduction" that stated I was a male.
So when people clicked on my character and got a list of my status's it would say I come from Finland but live in Australia and I'm Male and 16.

And why did I chose a female sprite? Because they had better things to wear and they looked better.

I'm actually meant to have about 980 posts. Many of them were deleted. And as you can see I can reply to threads quite quickly where as it takes you about 10minutes.

And about my week ahead. What you say and having you 'believe' or not in what I'm going to do makes no difference on my course of life this week. So I really don't care weather you 'habeeb' me or not. I'm still going to have a killer of a time.

Unless you KNOW someone in the real world, not just through the internet, then you might not ever know if a person is really a male or a female (or whatever they refer to themselves), plus, there could be any number of reasons or justifications for a "guy" to pick a female class, many of which have already been posted.

I voted no, reason: i play fems once in awhile just for a change (lookin at a fem chars pixelated butt is better then staring at a males pixels all day, lol). same as a girl pickin male chars, i have a female friend who only plays male chars cuz she got tired of all the harassment from all the male players and wanted to be able to play without them tryin to "get in her pixels" so to speak, and shes deff not a lezbo(i know). so weather your gay/lez or not your char gender is no way for others to tell.
