Right now there is only 1 set, Blossom Skin.

This refers to "Sakura" also known as "Cherry Blossom".

This is a Japanese theme for April.

There's new themes each month :)

Anyways, to answer your question: Weapon skin is specific to a weapon type.

If you're using a Mace, you must have Mace skin.

BTW, weapon skins are going to be released in about 90 mins (to the store).

sweet silky, ty for the info, i hope they going to be somewhat cheap since we will have to keep them upgraded.

It's not going to be cheap at all because it gives +10% DAMAGE, which is HUGE increase.

The item does expire if you do not renew it.

so its going be like 10-15 bucks? or like 5?

warriors are going get hit hard 1 handed 2 handed and axe

i understand the its not going be 2k sc, but the fact you gotta "feed" it in a sense i thought it would be a decent price lol

i guess we wait and see

10% is good but its only

but lets say youe wep is 1500 dmg its going be 1650 now, so if expesive kinda not worth that but the crit maybe worth it if decent price

Silky, when new sets are released in subsequent months, will the previous sets be removed ?

Once I buy a skin, can I take it off and put it on any other weapon of the same type? I don't wanna level up and have to buy another skin.

Yes. It functions like premium costume.

1 hit = 1 durablity for an axe, regardless of whether a skill was used or not. If you AoE with a wand does each successive hit on every monster take 1 durability each as well? I am assuming yes, but I'd rather hear before I buy.

I just whipped out the skin for my mage's wand and went for a test. I did a magic burst hitting 2 monsters but the durability only decrease by 1. I did this for a few times to confirm and it seems aoe skill is counted as 1 hit. XD

Incidentally, when i use my skin, i was surprised that the durability has gone back to full (25000/25000) eventhough i have use it once to kill a couple of monsters just to try it out. XD Well i am not complaining. XD

I am still interested to know when new designs/sets are released in subsequent months, will the older ones be removed from the store? I like to be able to compare the designs of a few sets before buying. I am not really that fond of pink flowers.... -.-'

Yes, thank you, I went ahead and got a wand skin as well as an axe skin. So, for sake of posterity and future readers:

Mages (Wand Skin) AoE's only count as 1 durability, on both the initial cast and subsequent hits, regardless of whether you hit anything. Single target attack skills use 1 durability. Mana Burn takes 1 durability, however Purge, Stifle, Fear and Dispel do not. Actual physical attacks with the wand take 1 durability as well.

Fighters (Axe Skin) AoE's only count as 1 durability, regardless of how many you hit and/or stun. Single target attack skills use 1 durability, Demoralize, Mock, and Kick do not. Regular (no skills) attacks use 1 durability as well.

Is it supposed to work this way?

I was thinking about buying one for my axe and using it as needed, but I guess that idea's not going to work. Ahhh. That's too bad.

I wonder if you buy two different axe skins (when they release the other sets) will it take a durability point off each skin for every axe hit. Ya know, they might want to re-think that.

So we have to wait another year for the valentines day ones to come out?

I checked again today and yes, the durability has reset itself to full again.

Does this happen to anyone else??

There's a glitch if you're in a party. It degrades, but when you move to different zone, it will display full amount.

It's being fixed as we speak.

Um...what?

The Skin is a costume piece that goes into your slots like wings, crit outfits, hats, etc. You can take it off when you want. I only use my axe skin for boss kills or PVP. Also, I am fairly certain you would not be able to use two skins.

You can only wear 1 at a time. Like K7 said, it take up the costume slot for the weapon.

i see, what a shame :(

because i dont feel like wasting 15 bucks cash to get 160 more dmg that mean 5 hit points on a mob for 15 bucks so to me the 25k one is not worth it

the 10% increase may sound like a lot but in real world mob fighting u might see 5-10 hit points more

Err... Silky, I wasn't in a party. I think this is a different bug, but one that is to my advantage. XD

I just logged in my mage with the wand skin in his inventory and yes, it has 'regenerated' some of the durability I used earlier. XD

It was something like 24850/25000 before I log off earlier and when I log in now, it's 24990/25000.

It's a miracle!:D

5-10 points? Not even close.

No, actually the damage difference is extremely noticeable, for AoE AND 1v1 killing. I've already gone boss killing, licensing, and grinding, with both my fighter and my mage, both with skins.

Nova and Inferno bump up almost 100 points of damage per hit and crits are noticeably seen more often. The kill time is so fast that in Trumpy Remains my mage doesn't even use scrolls when I have a Cleric.

Fighter skills just takes whole chunks out, adding about another 100-140 points of damage give or take, dropping kill times substantially. For bosses and PVP this is very important.

Now, I don't know what you consider "useful" when it comes to buying things, but considering that the skin adds 10% damage, 5% crit, AND 5% aim for the LIFE of your character (assuming you keep it repaired for 2 bucks) it's indisputably one of the most worthwhile investments in the game.
