There are people in apoline level 20 abyss in elderine who have 2000+ HP and are ATTACKING OTHER PEOPLE. I JUST LOST 1000 EXP due to these #&*@ people. They can do this????

there are many threads on this. abyss is a pvp area, and all the people who want easy kill points are in there. if u want to get to the back, run there as soon as u warp in, killany followers, or get someone to help u there.

im a level 21 fighter with absolutely NO scrolls or money which is the reason why im IN there in the first place. If i run to the back all those annoying phinos will start chasing me 5 by 5 and i'll die quickly. There goes another 340 exp. There really should be some sort of rule that people 20-29 can ONLY go in there.
(BTW, there are about 4 ppl and they each have 1500-2800 HP, they will CHASE ME)

OMG yet another person complain about Abyss, as Ninjayoshi4 said.. DEAL WITH IT, its Abyss its designed for PVP Don't like people killing you..Simple don't go. People get off on watching others cry like a baby when they are killed by them. Do yourself a favour and either do not enter Abyss or get a group together in there or if that fails, get down on your knees and beg for them not to kill you lol, As for exp loss.. Buy Teva :)

If you can't deal with the PKers, then the answer is simple.
Don't go down there.
People have levelled through 20-30 without abyss with ease, and people will continue to do so.
You should be one of these people and quit complaining.

Here's my advice: Avoid the level 20 Abyss. It's a pain. The higher level ones aren't quite as bad but personally, I avoid the Abyss altogether 99% of the time. I've gone in maybe 4 or 5 times total and I'm in no rush to go in again. There will always be little kids and "adults" in there with no lives and/or self-esteem PKing people to feel better about themselves, that'll never change. And as you've undoubtedly noticed by now, most people will just tell you to shut up and stop voicing your frustration/opinion because it's not welcome and neither are you. It's best to avoid the whole mess. PvP is becoming a pretty big aspect of the game so I can understand your frustration but the aim of the game is cash and PvP earns loads.

well Neerk is my guild mate *cough* cough* but dang kinda cold don't you think;) Anyways their used to be those type of lvl limits 20-29 30-39 and so forth and their used to be no exp loss and you could have pvp wars and it would be fun and we could all laugh when we died cuz it didn't matter. I remember I used to see people right by the gate keeper training now theres no one there cuz its a huge risk your pk'er food. I don't like that aspect the people that say if you don't like it don't go to me thats really insensitive maybe this was not the place to post something like this but maybe he thought u'd give em advice or maybe someone would see this and do something. At the lower levels, it's pointless to go into the 20 Abyss. I, for one, would not go into that Abyss alone... Ever.

I understand, from your other posts, you might not have been initially aware that the Abysses are PvP zones. Nor could you have known, without reading the endless slew of posts regarding the Abyss, that the 20 Abyss is the worst one for PvP/PKing.

As others have said, try to avoid the Abyss until (at the absolute earliest) 25. In the meantime, grab up all the quests you can and do the repeats until you can do them no more.

One last note: The reason the Abysses have great drops/exp is because there's a risk you can lose the exp in PvP. A player must weigh the pros and cons of death by PK, and the resultant loss of buffs/scrolls/exp, before entering the Abyss.

i have to say, i didn't avoid abyss, even though i was PK food on claxerio, yet i managed to scroll rare scroll production... its just simple, i made abyss guards, but didn't train them :X... You can listen to what bonthra said, or just tease the heck out of them failed no-life PKers wasting their scrolls and cookies xD. Just don't die, and just leave the abyss when they scroll up and charm up, its simple. On the side note, i think i will have to powerlevel my abysmal guards by myself soon, bullying PKers will be fun :). Just waste their money and their kill points away. That will make them mad. Abyss is pvp enabled, and that's fine. It makes abyss a dangerous area, and that's the whole point of abyss.

But i would suggest, make more portal guards in abyss. This way, PK'ers cannot spawn kill everyone, until they seperate.

I somehow don't think that'll stop the whining, complaining, feelings of hurt, general dislike of PvP, etc. While I find the idea intriguing, I think the implications would be too costly for most players. Perhaps starting with a PvP-enabled server?

Im new to fiesta, about a week. At first i heard that this place had great items and i wanted to make money out of here, maybe 5s (I didnt even have 1s at the time). I was so excited that i was going to get my cash to go up and i could actually feel good about the char. Obviously I just went in and I beat about 2 phinos and got a few items and then left because i forgot some scrolls in the item storage. When I came back there were two of the 'PKers' as i believe they are called (Im new remember, don't know fiesta vocab). When i first saw them i thought they were just fellow members who were training with like, 10 scrolls.... and they attacked...

Obviously I told them to stop but they were too stuck up and didn't answer except one and he said once that he didnt care.

It was kinda unexpecting...

That's actually the point of the Abyss; increased exp at a certain cost..being PVP.

All i do pretty much nowadays at lvl 86 is stay in 7x abyss and protect my guildies. just find u someone like that in 20 abyss lvl range and befriend them ;D.

As one who has leveled since before the Abyss, I accept the risks involved in going to a PvP-enabled map, including the loss of exp should I die. I have been an Abyss mongrel since they made it better (not, however, since it opened when it was few mobs/drops and low exp).

I also don't completely agree that the Abyss will reduce the population. Nor the more recent changes like the level caps and exp loss. It will, instead, change the population from PvE-based, MMORPG gamers to PvP-based gamers. Is this better? *Shrugs* Dunno. I'm just here for "teh l00tz" (the loots a.k.a. the drops).

When you get to 80 abyss it is empty almost all the time ^^. Just level up and go to level 30, most fighter with the lowest in m.def don't like 30 abyss. And most pkers as it seem are fighters.

Amen. You should make exp in higher maps than ur lvl is. I also gave up with abbys long time ago. There are a lot of fair people fighting their level players but also many idiots killing low level players doing exp.

I too tired of the abyss because I am more towards PVE. I am not that fond of PVP, I enjoy playing games and making friends, learn about teamwork rather than being killed in PVP causing too much of hatred.

So, here is my suggestion:

a) Join Academy Guild:
Perhaps you haven't heard of this? Academy guild works in a way that every time you gain a level, you get silvers and item from guild. You can go to the Guild Manager in town (Roumen or Elderine), talk to him, select 'Academy', check 'Academy Ranking'. Normally guild with the highest rank gives better rewards and money. To join an academy guild, press 'F', go to Guild Academy section (icon), click 'Enroll', type in the academy guild, then press OK to join. Academy guild is actually like a school for low level newbies (level 1 to 40). So, why these guilds offer nice rewards and silvers for you? Because every time you gain a level, the guild will get academy point. The top 7 guilds which have the highest academy point would receive guild buff for 7 days. Seriously, the 1st generation players like us did not have academy or abyss, and yet we survived. With academy, I believe everyone would agree that things should work out much better for newbies.

b) Hunting drops?
Yes, abyss mobs do give a lot of items (sometimes even production scrolls, lucky/blessed enhancement stones), but it is risky of being killed or even making enemy in it. I am not sure whether any of you notice that dungeon mobs also give good drops. Yes, boss dungeons like Marlone Clan's Hideout (Lv20 to 36), Graveyard of Dead (Lv30 to 46) and so on. Give it a try. The mobs are harder and they hit very hard as well, but they give good drops too.

Hopefully my suggestions here have lit up your hope as a newbie to start off this game in a much easier way.

I befriended a guy named ClericHero to go in with him and other people who care to join but hes a little stuck up. I'd rather deal with that though then PK'ers

Abyss is a PvP Zone. It has boosted exp, but other players can attack you to help exp rate be lower. If you don't like it, try leveling elsewhere. :P

All I can say about this is...

If you don't wanted to be killed by another player, don't go in an area where that is permitted (such as Abyss or Free Battle Zone).

FYI, you will encounter so-called "rude" people throughout your life no matter where you go. That is a party of being human and you just have to learn to deal with it, I'm sorry.

Also, there are many alternatives to training in Abyss.

You could always do quests, KQs, or maybe just plain ol' partying and/or grinding in random maps besides Abyss. Also, there are people who can help you. Try joining a Guild Academy or maybe even a Guild; or round up some friends of yours and go level or finish quests together while having some fun.

Lastly, for posting that players name and mentioning him in negative way, you're participating in blacklisting, which is against the ToS, by the way.

I remember when the first abyss appeared, it was challenging and few players attacked each other, it was a good place to level up and the loot was great. You will see in many levelling guides suggestions for levelling there.
If a player attacked you, you didn't lose any experience, but if they trained you it was misery, but rare. We were also sad when a friend made the next level and had to leave the party and we couldn't join them at the next level. This split up teams and was undesirable but nothing compared to the situation today, where you have teams of bullies haunting low level abysses just to get kills.
I left Fiesta for nearly 5 months waiting for the last level jump, coming back in December. Now I find there are there are teams of high level players hunting low level individuals in the abysses for some type of trophy. What kind of fun is that for most players? Sure I can--and will now stay out of the abyss, but it seems unreasonable for Fiesta to set up this entire environment for a few jerks to dominate. I never before recall teams of players killing individuals, there was no honor in that. A few individual duels--usually just for fun or due to some missunderstanding but the current situation serves few players and seems against most of what the Fiesta is about. I don't necessarily think what was before should be restored but the current situation is very ugly and Fiesta should do something to restore the fun factor.

Always mobs of pkers waiting at the entrance, just waiting for newbies to kill xP
Although the pking isn't as bad in the higher level abysses
I love grinding in the 50 abyss, and have only been killed there a couple of times
Just remember, it's only a game and try not to get too worked up over it

Just for future reference, when you want to reply to multiple people you can click the "Quote +" button (so it changes to "Quote -") on each post you want to, well, quote. Then, when you click "New Reply" it will have all the previously selected quotations and you can just reply there without making multiple posts and/or searching for the ones to which you want to reply.
Hope that makes your forum-going a bit easier. =D

Actually, why hate PKers? just because they killed you in abyss, shall you call them kids with no babysitters, or people with no self esteem. PVP is part of the game, and it is fun for them to play the game PVP style. it gives you teh adrelanine rush.

the game is about fun. if it's in their point of view that pvp is fun, don't discriminate them. some of you within thought of PKing, and being godly there and feared.

if you don't like pvp, stay away from the PVP zone period.

even if there's that occasional green drop well why go in there if you don't like pkers. and well newbies probably hate pkers and don't understand so whenever you go in the abyss, there should be a written warning that could not be turned off.
