Cleric: Pros VS. Cons?

I'm new to the whole Online RPG experience, and I'm looking into having my first character be a cleric (once the server lets me on of course :( ).

that said, I'd thought I would get some feedback on what everyone here likes and dislikes about their cleric.

Hmmm I just made a cleric after getting bored of a mage, and a fighter. I dont think there is a downside to a cleric. You dont need to buy hp stones, and you can go against higher lvl baddies because you can heal yourself. So far the Cleric seems pretty good to me, but I am only level 16.

Pros: You are nearly immortal, and can survive where no other class can. You can buff, raise the dead, cure poisons, stop bleeding, and look awesome whilst doing it.

Cons: You are overwhelmingly pathetic. Your damage is slow, and killing even green enemies will take more time than anyone else. You will also suffer from pretty much anyone who is not a cleric asking you to heal, buff, or revive them. Some don't consider this a con though.

I am a Cleric because...I didn't get bored with it. I chose Cleric just to try it out and fell in love with it immediately.

Pros:

Healing yourself and others
Reviving team-mates
Buffing yourself and others
Good looking weapons and armour

Cons:

Weakness
Being shunned by others (usually, people expect you to stand at the back of the team and heal them)
Everyone asking you to heal and revive them CONSTANTLY.

they can stop Bleeding? what level? thought only posion and diease,

But i have a Lv 22 Cleric loads of fun, its isnt as bad as everyone says i klill monsters fast enough yes a mage can kill 4 to 1 but i can also never die a mage gets a add he will die super fast, Bash is your friend, i made 2 clerics one party friendly one solo so my build my way
