I want a few questions answered before I invest my SC into a weapon skin.

1.) Once you put them on, can you take them off?

2.) If you put them on a +9'd item, do they look +9 too?

3.) Is it better to try and get one from Remi's than to buy one from the shop?

(this one is random)

4.) Why does they all give magical damage boosts?

Help meh out folks. :D

*edit*
Yes you can take them off.

No, they do not look +9.

From the shop. Odds of getting a skin from Remi's are bad. Odds of getting the skin you need for the weapon you have are even worse.

Not sure what you mean about the magic damage boost.

The magic damage boost was just me being a smart ***.
I don't think a fighter has any magic damage moves, so why is it on there? xD lol

can u really take skin off from weapon of lower lvl to upper lvl...?

i mean have u ever tried like using it on lvl 50 axe then when u r lvl 60 u can take it off n use it on ur lvl 70 axe...?

are u so sure...cauz i m on lvl 58 now, so dont wanna buy it for just two lvl, but if it can be taken off n use it on other weapons then i m gonna buy it now...

can any1 who has used this features or gm (it will be my pleasure if u respond this) can tell me exactly cauz i m gonna buy 1 for 1h sword n 1 for axe right away..

and 1 more question how does its durabality decreases like hitting one decrease its durability once or like using 1 skill decrease 1..or like how, if u stunt more than one mobs does it count as one ...? any thing abt derease in duraibility...?
hoping to get answer soon

Yep, 100% sure you can. Weapon skins are like costumes for the weapons itself, so you can put it on any of the skin on its corresponding weapon and take them off and put them on another weapon as well. I tried it on a lvl 80 axe and lvl 70 axe and it works.

1 hit = 1 point of durability decrease.

I'm not sure if AOEs will count down multiple times. For example, an archers poison aoe does DOT damage like, lets pretend 5 times, I'm not sure if the durability will go down by 1 point or 5 points. I'm a fighter, so I can tell you that 1 hit, whether it be skill or not, will lower it by 1 point.

There is also currently a graphics bug where if you are in a party with someone who has a skin as well, and if they attack then you lose 1 durability point for each of their attacks as well. But it is just a graphics bug, and all you need to do is relog or reload the map and it will return to its correct durability

[edit] I just tested it right now, I used devastate on 5 mobs, and it only went down by 1 durability point. So I'm going to assume that it will only go down by 1 point as well for archers and mages who have AOE skills, unless an archer or mage is kind enough to let us know otherwise xD

[This is an example of my staff]

A1 - Yes they can be taken off whenever you want.
A2 - No they won't look like a +9, you will just only see the skin.
A3 - Only if you are lucky enough or rich enough to get the item!
A4 - Cause that's how are they made! :D

I believe its a bug, and the 10k and 3k versions arent suppose to be released just yet. That's why they have 99999sc so that no one will buy it, well atleast no one smart will buy it.

Because, I'm sure, if they were to release a 10k and 3k durability skin, it would be on the weapons skin page along with the 25k durab skins. Just like how, the charms are. THere is a seperate icon for 1 charm, and a seperate icon for a stack of charms.

I want a few questions answered before I invest my SC into a weapon skin.

1.) Once you put them on, can you take them off?
Yes. It's like a costume. You can interchange them as long as the Skin Type matches the Weapon Type.

2.) If you put them on a +9'd item, do they look +9 too?
Currently it does not. In the future, Weapon Skins will have their only unique Glow/Effect.

3.) Is it better to try and get one from Remi's than to buy one from the shop?
It is the exact same one. The prize pool for Remi's has increased in value.

4.) Why does they all give magical damage boosts?
 Because there's classes that only use spells?

I'm copy/pasting this from another thread, but don't worry, I'm only plagiarizing myself. This is all personally tested.

Mages (Wand Skin) AoE's only count as 1 durability, on both the initial cast and subsequent hits, regardless of whether you hit anything. Single target attack skills use 1 durability. Mana Burn takes 1 durability, however Purge, Stifle, Fear and Dispel do not. Actual physical attacks with the wand take 1 durability.

Fighters (Axe Skin) AoE's only count as 1 durability, regardless of how many you hit and/or stun. Single target attack skills use 1 durability, Demoralize, Mock, and Kick do not. Regular (no skill) attacks use 1 durability.
